Maison de Thé Camellia Sinensis earns praise for a welcoming atmosphere and knowledgeable friendly staff who explain the teas clearly and offer helpful recommendations, with welcoming tea samples; the shop features a wide selection of loose leaf teas, tisanes and infusions, plus teaware and tasting experiences, with easy online ordering and a focus on quality and authenticity that makes it a go-to for tea lovers.
This is hands down the best tea store in Montreal! Every tea tells a story-you'll find details about where it comes from & even the altitude it was grown at. Their green & oolong teas are incredibly fresh, from this year or last year, which is almost impossible to find anywhere else. They do have a website, but honestly, going to the store is part of the magic. You get to chat with the staff, & they are super friendly, passionate, & so helpful. It's such a great experience every time!

I attended the intro to tea class today (given in French) & had such a great experience. Tom led the class & provided us with so much useful information & answered all of our questions really thoroughly. The boutique itself is beautiful & calm, & I look forward to coming back for another class & trying more teas. The only downside is that once you try tea from Camelia Sinensis, the ones from the grocery store aren't quite as satisfying anymore.
I was surprised they stocked some good Chinese teas. Even in China, buying high-quality tea is a challenge. I'm really looking forward to the 2026 spring flush green tea,I wonder when it will be available?
Lovely place! The staff was super nice, we didn't know much about tea, & they explained gave us good recommendations. They also gave us a welcoming tea sample.

Wonderful tea shop & boutique. There's a place to buy a cup of tea & a ton of loose leaf tea (& tea bags) available for purchase. They also have a great selection of teaware from plenty of different ways to make tea.
Never been to the store; only ordered to Toronto. Have placed several orders over the last couple of years & every time it's been excellent. Love sampling different teas, & repurchasing the Earl Grey Cream. I have found some of the brand's teas sold at Everyday Coffee in St. Lawrence Market, but sadly they only have the regular Earl Grey there, not the Cream.
I was recommended to come here from a VIA Rail employee, never did catch his name, said his uncle worked there but I'm assuming not on the day I went. Regardless, I ended up spending $75$ really quick, haven't tried the teas yet so I'll have to update my review when I do. Presentation was amazing, got a tea sampler box, a couple loose leaf teas, if I didn't have limited luggage I would have got some tea wares, beautiful tea cups & tea pots. I will have to return here if I ever visit Montreal again.

Authenticity in itself! Only finest handpicked tea resides here! Quality crafted by tradition, untouched by shortcuts, & delivered with the quiet confidence of flavors that speak for themselves! A must for tea enthusiasts!
The sales associates are very kind & knowledgeable. I didn't catch his name, but the employee on tuesday at 3:45 with medium long brown hair was extremely helpful. I, admittedly, do not know much about tea, but he took the time to explain the concepts that were foreign to me & what might suit my preferences.
The staff is not over bearing at all which makes the shopping experience very nice.
