Review Summary

Maison Café receives a polarizing reception, with many patrons praising the creative and high-quality matcha flavors, particularly the maple sea salt and pistachio varieties, alongside delicious cookies and pastries. Frequent visitors often highlight the welcoming nature of the staff and the aesthetic appeal of the drinks. However, significant concerns are raised regarding the high price points, the shift to paper cups which some feel diminishes the experience, and inconsistencies in drink preparation, such as inadequate mixing. Some customers have expressed frustration over language barriers, menu changes not being reflected online, and the limited seating capacity, leading to a mixed consensus on whether the establishment truly lives up to its online popularity.

Super nice spot in lasalle. Lovely to study, hangout & take pictures, they even have an outdoor patio. Great service too.

Their biscoff latte is delish for the people who have sweet tooths, their esspesso is pretty good.

Their matcha though is SOOOOO good. I got the strawberry matcha & what stands out to me is the natural freshness of their homemade syrup. I love strawberry syrup that tastes like real sweet strawberries, when you drink it you even get tiny pieces of syrup. I absolutely hate getting a strawberry matcha that tastes artificial & makes you end up with a strawberry milk type of drink.

The only downside is that I felt they could've put a little bit more matcha, I felt it wasn't strong enough to overpower the syrup.

The matcha was good, but only the first few sips are the best because of the foam on top. Afterwards, we all found that there's no flavour, only a chalky matcha taste. If you're a sweet matcha person, ask for a sweetener added, like vanilla syrup. Still very good, & really cool flavours! I got the maple matcha & my friends got the strawberry matcha! Quick & friendly service!

Their drinks are SOOO good, they measure everything so each visit never disappoints! I'm obsessed with their maple sea salt iced latte, genuinely it hits every time. From the quality of the coffee beans to the syrup they use, it always tastes so satisfying & not too sweet. There are also sooo many flavors to try, suitable for every taste. I highly recommend giving it a try, even if the drinks are a little expensive!

amazing iced salted maple latte (included foam as well) but price is a bit too high imo esp for the iced caramel blondie (no syrup just caramel sauce on the cup for almost $10...?)
