Maison Café à LaSalle est un café de quartier chaleureux, idéal pour une pause café ou une petite bouchée. Avec son ambiance conviviale et son menu simple et bien exécuté, c’est une adresse facile pour se retrouver entre amis ou pour emporter.
Maison Café est décrit comme un endroit élégant et animé avec un service chaleureux et attentif et des boissons au matcha qui se distinguent, dont un matcha pain perdu que beaucoup trouvent exceptionnel; le personnel est apprécié pour son souci du détail et sa capacité à répondre aux questions ou allergies, et L'espace est petit et vivant avec des places près de la fenêtre et une cabine photo gratuite qui ajoute une touche ludique; la carte propose un latte au sirop d'érable et sel de mer et un matcha gâteau d'anniversaire en édition limitée, faisant de cet endroit un nouveau coup de cœur pour beaucoup; quelques notes mentionnent un sirop qui colle au fond du verre et des glaçons qui rendent la boisson plus difficile à atteindre, tandis que l'intérieur est décrit comme neutre et gris; dans l'ensemble l'expérience est très positive et les visiteurs prévoient de revenir.
Endroit très insalubre à l'intérieur. L'endroit est complètement overrated & la popularité sur les réseaux sociaux n'est vraiment pas justifiée. Nous nous sommes assises à l'intérieur, mais on nous a servi nos boissons dans des verres en carton alors qu'il y avait clairement des verres disponibles.
De plus, le personnel n'était pas chaleureux du tout. Nous leur parlions en français & ils nous répondaient uniquement en anglais, ce qui était assez désagréable.
Les prix sont également abusés pour la qualité & l'expérience offertes. Bref, très déçue, je ne recommande pas. (PS: les gaufres étaient dures comme du béton (c'était pas frais))
Matcha drinks are so tasty! Pistachio & strawberry shortcake were my favourite. Staff were super welcoming & service was quick. Nice calm ambience to chill in thank you!
I had a maple sea salt latte & it was really good today highly recommend coming back another time & is really yummy also like to say big Thank you Maison cafe I'll come again soon Thanks so much I'm giving 10/10 great service 100%
Premièrement j'aimerais dire que le service est à retravailler. Je me suis exprimer en français avec la personne à la caisse & elle m'a répondu en anglais. La personne ne parlait pas français & oblige les visiteurs a parler en anglais pour prendre leur commande. De plus , les prix sont beaucoup trop cher , 10$ pour un latte ou un matcha c'est du jamais vu . Malheureusement les boissons ne sont pas bonnes & elle ne valent surtout pas leur prix .

Honestly, I don't really get the hype 😭 I paid over $10 after tax for a MEDIUM drink just for it to come half-filled with ice… so basically I paid for a small 💀
The matcha itself was also weird. It wasn't blended/mixed properly at all - you taste the matcha separately, then the strawberry separately, & it just feels random instead of complementary. The flavors don't go together naturally, it's like ingredients were just thrown together 😕
On top of that, the inside is REALLY small, so the whole experience felt cramped. & honestly, I felt kinda pressured/uncomfortable by the owner while ordering 😬 The customer service wasn't terrible or anything, but it definitely wasn't anything special either.
Nothing extraordinary honestly. Super overrated for the price, & you could definitely get way better elsewhere for cheaper.
My honest review, this place is super overhyped on social media, paying 10$ for a latte is a big no for me. My friend took a matcha for 11$ & it didn't taste anything close to a matcha… the service was very polite but their price list needs to be reviewed & their matcha product replaced.
Tried Maison for the first time in person after having their drinks through takeout before, & honestly it felt like home 🤍
We got the Sea Salt Earl Grey for my mom & the Double Pistachio for myself - both were SO good. We also tried the banana bread & it was genuinely one of the most moist banana breads I've ever had.
The owners & staff were incredibly kind & welcoming. It was an extremely busy day of running errands, & somehow that drink kept me going through it all 😭 So thank you Maison for the warmth, kindness, & comfort yesterday ✨
The drinks are fun & unique, but the flavours are way too overpowering. You don't taste the matcha at all, & at $10 to $12 per drink, I just can't justify the price. The service also left a lot to be desired. No one greets you, no one smiles, & the atmosphere feels cold. Overall, it was a really strange & off putting experience at Maison Cafe.

It was served completely unmixed in an opaque cup. My first sip was pure sugar, the next was unsweetened powdery matcha water.
2 stars bc the place looked nice & I think it would've been decent if they mixed it properly.

Got the salt maple & strawberry, both just tasted like flavored milk with no such hint of matcha. Extremely overhyped on social media, & waited a good 20 min to get my drinks while people that ordered after us got theirs before
I think the matcha flavours (especially the pain doré & pain au banane) are subtle & not as strong as I thought it would be. It was still a good matcha & I liked it, but I did not like the earl gray matcha, but Its more of a personal opinion. Also the prices are pretty expensive for one matcha so the quality or quantity should represent that. Lastly the thin chocolate chip cookie were so addicting.
Their drinks are SOOO good, they measure everything so each visit never disappoints! I'm obsessed with their maple sea salt iced latte, genuinely it hits every time. From the quality of the coffee beans to the syrup they use, it always tastes so satisfying & not too sweet. There are also sooo many flavors to try, suitable for every taste. I highly recommend giving it a try, even if the drinks are a little expensive!
