Très très bruyant ... pas vraiment recommandé pour un souper d amoureux « cozy »
Cependant les sushis étaient meilleurs que jamais...c est la place!!!
Service impeccable!

Food, as always, was superb. Our waiter was not superb, in fact, very disappointed in the service. It got better as the evening progressed but he was quite indifferent & cocky. Fortunately the other staff made up for him.
we had an amazing time! didn't expect anything & food was amazeballs! some of the best sushi i have ever eaten & i've had sushi in Japan. The scallop & urchin one is definitely out of this world & the lobster cevice was devine. a little on the expensive side, but well worth the money. will definitely be going back.
Beautiful presentation of our menu selections. Seafood was excellent quality. Very helpful & efficient service. Although our seating in the corner was too dark to read the menus - more candles would have been useful - & difficult to have a conversation with our group because of the music/noise level. All-&-all, highly recommended for a special evening dining experience.
The best sushi in Montreal! Tried many upscale places: nothing beats Maiko. Food is always fresh & delicious, great service ( Bruce is the best waiter ever) & trendy ambience. A must try: you won't be disappointed
Food is good but the price is a bit expensive. I am not comparing to cheap restaurant but Maiko Sushi charges 1.5 times what you pay for sushi elsewhere. I hope they look at the prices.
Love this restaurant but unfortunately I have to give it 3 stars this time. If you are gluten intolerant or have Celiac Disease do not eat there. We were assured that they knew the protocol on how to prepare my daughter's sushi but when we were served we found tempura on her plate. The waiter told us that it must have fallen off of someone else's plate. He took her plate back & prepared a fresh plate. The new plate had wasabi on it. We were told that it was a different chef that prepared the 2nd plate. You would think that they would have communicated her illness with the second chef. Unacceptable. But regardless of our experience, if you don't have any food allergies, it is a fabulous restaurant.
Absolutely delicious!! Great service, excellent quality of food & presentation. You feel like you are having dinner in a
trendy downtown restaurant. If you haven't tried it yet, it is a must.
