Maiko Sushi emerges as a standout sushi destination with consistently fresh fish, beautiful presentation, and a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. The service is described as warm, professional, and attentive, contributing to a dining experience that feels special even when the restaurant is busy. Reservations are often advised to secure a table, as the place tends to fill up, and the ambiance with high ceilings and elegant decor enhances the meal. Pretty underwhelmerd. Most of the Maki rolls tasted similar. Ordered a saporo beer, waiter brought me a large Asahi which he opened & poured. I realized after I took a big sip. Not a big deal but I also just wanted a regular sized beer.
Restaurant was packed, tables very close to each other, we were seated close to the entrance with people waiting for their seats & delivery services waiting for their takeaway orders.
Pretty expensive compared to other restaurants.
We went there for Mother's Day (5 people) the hostess was extremely cold & rude, our waitress, Mina was sweet. They put us at a table where 3 people fit & our food barely fit on the table. They took so much time to bring out our drinks & when we went it was early so It wasn't that busy. At first we asked the hostess if there would be any other table available, she was very rude in the way she answered to us & she just said'everything is booked' didn't even take a look in her log book. Anyways, she needs to get replaced since she's the first person someone sees & unfortunately she determines the rest of the dinne
Simply the best… my favorite sushi spot in mtl. You have to take the following: 1- jardin de maiko 2- toro mousse 3- orchidée 4- all the rolls you want & you finish with Perles de maiko. Then send me your feedback :)
Food is consistently solid. Fish is good, but not exceptional. Ambiance is warm & service is great. For non traditional sushi, it remains the best in the West Island.
Orders for takeout should be improved as the wait music is noise pollution & during busy times, one person answering the phone doesn't work.
I've been coming here for years & it's very disappointing that my favourite dish Kaki aghe is now served as a much smaller portion (it's been a while now). We used to get decent size pieces & now they give the same amount of pieces but they cut the pieces much smaller. This dish used to satisfy me . Now you're still hungry after having that dish (even with an entree). Very disappointing of the shrinkflation. Do better Maiko. Your place is a gold mine stop being so cheap.
Maiko sushi offers a luxurious sushi experience with fresh, high quality ingredients & stunning presentation. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet inviting, perfect for a special night out. Their shrimps & signature rolls are a must try, & the service is impeccable.
Food wa sol nothing to write home about. It wasn't bad wasn't great. A tad pricey & the tables are super uncomfortable to sit at because they got these giant bars in the middle area I wear a size 12 shoe & couldn't find a comfortable position, we waited over 1.5hrs to get our food, definetly hurt my ankle keeping it bent awkwardly for so long.
Had a fantastic meal at Maiko Sushi! The Kaki Aghe, made with imitation crab, was top-notch-crispy, flavorful, & beautifully presented. The vegetarian maki was super fresh & satisfying. We also tried another dish I can't quite remember the name of, but it was just as delicious.
Great vibe, lovely plating, & quality ingredients. Can't wait to go back!
The best sushi restaurant in Montreal & one of the best all-around restaurants. The food is delicious. I only have one complaint. The waiter forgot to put our order in to the chefs, so we had to wait a very long time.
