Maïko Sushi in Dollard-des-Ormeaux specializes in various sushi, it also offers salmon, calamari, filet mignon, chicken, Japanese soups with an egg base, and seaweed salad to name a few. Seated in a dining room emphasising blue tones and glass-encased lighting, novices and amateurs alike will love the delicacies of Maiki Sushi's oriental cuisine. Maïko Sushi's sushi bar is a big hit with diners who are partial to those multicoloured rolls. Small private rooms featuring traditional tatami mats, can also be reserved by groups of 6 to 10.
Maiko Sushi emerges as a standout sushi destination with consistently fresh fish, beautiful presentation, and a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. Guests praise the chef's artistry and a range of memorable creations, with signature rolls and the omakase earning top marks for flavor and craft. The service is described as warm, professional, and attentive, contributing to a dining experience that feels special even when the restaurant is busy. Reservations are often advised to secure a table, as the place tends to fill up, and the ambiance with high ceilings and elegant decor enhances the meal. While a few notes mention occasional long waits, louder music, and a higher price point, the overall impression of Maiko Sushi is a premier sushi experience with reliable quality, generous portions, and consistent excellence that keeps diners returning.

Overall a very enjoyable experience. The food & service was excellent. I have been to this restaurant many times. Without question, thus us the best suishi restaurant in the West Island. My only complaint was when we made a reservation for 6:00 we were told that we would have to leave our table by 7:30. For an average of 100$ per person (including drinks) it's rather unreasonable that we should have to rush what otherwise was a very enjoyable experience.

Sushi was great. Service very disappointing.
Restaurant not busy busy. Waiter very busy talking with co-workers. Trying to get his attention for water as well as ordering more sushi. Sake was really not warmed as it should be.
