Absolutely exquisite sushi. Couldn't get enough of the oysters. Pricey, but well worth it. Dimming the lights would go a long way toward making the place a little cozier.
I am a restaurant critic & have been one of the most well known in the region of Italy where I was leaving before arriving in Quebec , less than 2 years ago. Been traveling from Europe to Africa & from Middle East to Asia. In 57 years I have never been eating in a Japanese restaurant like here. Chef Maiko can transmit Love & Passion in her creations, able to offer emotions from the eyes, to the perfumes to tastes that remain your heart for long. Superbe dinner. The sushi was excellent! The service, not so much! We were 5 people & ordered food & drinks for about 350$! Our waiter came to our table every 10 minutes to ask us if we were done from the minute we got our order. Not cool & by the end of the evening we were annoyed!
Love this place! From the staff at the reception, always grateful for Karen's presence for all these years, to the staff on the floor, to the always insanely delicious bites, I can never get enough of this place!
