This is a great restaurant & the sushi is usually really really good. I come here all the time. But recently I find the service has become less good & the food as well unfortunately. But it's still one of the best sushi places I know. It was very loud on my last visit but that was a Saturday night. Still, I would recommend this place especially to sushi lovers.
Been a customer for over 20 years & the food as always been the best & freshest last night however the food was not quite there. Everything was a little off, the rolls were not rolled properly & falling apart. L'enfer was brought to us cold & the rice inside tasted strongly of vinegar.
Our waiter although he was nice he was not attentive & an uncomfortable close talker. We laughed it off but had I been a first time customer it would have turned me off going back.
It would have been better if my girlfriend wasn't in pain with a backache, but the rest of the experience was very good as usual. I been there about a dozen times, & will return !
When I made the online reservation, I informed that I was celebrating an anniversary. On our arrival, no one mentioned or acknowledged what I wrote & the reason we were having supper there. I was not expecting a free dessert, but a "Happy Anniversary" greeting would have been appreciated.
