Food was absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, it took a long time for the server to take our order (almost 45 mins) - I get it though, restos are struggling with staffing. The music was way too loud making conversation a bit difficult. Still, the food almost made up for it!

The meal as always was fabulous. The only criticism I have is the music. It would be so nice to have music which would not blare out is not conducive to the meal.
Beautiful presentation of our menu selections. Seafood was excellent quality. Very helpful & efficient service. Although our seating in the corner was too dark to read the menus - more candles would have been useful - & difficult to have a conversation with our group because of the music/noise level. All-&-all, highly recommended for a special evening dining experience.
Delicious food & excellent service.
My only recommendation is don't keep the music so high, guest have difficulty having conversations & the entire restaurant becomes a shouting match.

Food was excellent & beautifully presented, but the wine prices were ridiculously sky high & for that reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5.
Nice decor but music was way too loud, causing people to speak louder & louder. Service was a little slow but considering it was a full house, it was understandable. I would definitely go again but not order any wine.

I was at Maiko Sushi this evening, very very disappointed. I used to go to Maiko on Bernard. Haven't been to the one on Sources for a long time, & I will never go back again.
Menu has changed, prices have gone up. Food was good, but the music was so loud, it was like sitting in a bar downtown. I was out with 2 other couples, but we could not talk at all. I ordered a glass of wine & after awhile I wanted another one but it was impossible to get the attention of our server. I asked the waitress that was filling up our glasses with water, but it never happened.
When I go out with other people I like to relax & talk to the people I am with.
I am not Interested in listening to this disco music.
Maiko sushi will never see me again or the people I was with.
Very Very Disapointed
Had an employable evening .The food was delicious & the service was awesome. I would definitely recommend Maiko for any occasion except a romantic dinner if you want to have a romantic conversation as it does get quite loud.l would recommend some relaxing authentic music rather than the upbeat music we experienced...by the way I do like upbeat music.....when I dance not to enjoy a delicious meal .
Food is amazing although a little pricey. The only thing that I did not appreciate was the extremely loud club music playing. There was no way to talk to our table companions without shouting. I realize that the general crowd was on the younger side, however, if I'm spending that much on a wonderful sushi dinner, I would like to be able to converse with my friends/family.
Merci
