Ouhhhh quelle bonne pizza! On s'y attends pas surtout quand on va dans un bar clandestin un peu lowkey comme celui-là. Au menu boisson, des cocktails & des mocktails super intéressant. Des bières comme celle provenant de Thailande sont aussi offertes. C'est un melting pot d'antiquités placées un peu partout & à travers la place. L'ambiance & la petite lumière basse rouge donne un super bon vybe. Petite mentions au staff qui est aussi incroyablement gentil. Il se sont rappellé que nous sommes revenus un peu après l'avoir essayé la fois précédente.View more

The first time I went here I had great service & great food. The drinks were pricey but were unique & fun to try. The bartender & male server were super friendly. The second time the service was slow & the server was somewhat passive aggressive. Paid in cash & never got my change back.. The server claimed a 35% tip for herself even despite her coming to the table once & her service being carried by her colleagues. The pizza was also burnt. If you go, try to sit by the bar to not end up in her section.View more

Absolutely had such a lovely experience here from the service, to the ambiance & to the food & drinks. This was my first time ever visiting Montreal & my mom & I were looking for a cool spot for some late night drinks & chats & this was perfect. This is a Speakeasy Bar with nice dim-lighting, burlesque-style decor, soft jazz music in the background that isn't too loud where you can actually hear each other speak! I ordered the Late Night Encounter drink which was like a Espresso Martini but, it wasn't too strong or bitter at all - it was very smooth with the perfect amount of sweetness. Then, I ordered their No Bias drink which was refreshing & very tasty. My mom & I got the Mirza Ghassemi & Noix Roties - both perfect little snacks to enjoy with your drinks & then we got their Burrata pizza to share which was SO DELICIOUS. I definitely will come back when I return to Montreal again!View more

Très bonne expérience. Nous sommes venus entre amis (6) & nous avons adoré l'expérience. Les cocktails sont délicieux, les classiques comme les spéciaux sont très bien réalisés. Les prix sont corrects & nous avons particulièrement aimé un détail : le pourcentage d'alcool dans chaque cocktail est affiché sur la carte. Le service est excellent, aucune faute ou oubli, juste parfait. Pour ce qui est de la nourriture nous n'avons goûté qu'aux pizzas & elles étaient excellentes. Les portions sont plus que correct pour le prix que nous avons payé. Nous avons vraiment apprécié qu'il y ai plusieurs choix de pizzas dont un végétarien & qu'on puisse personnaliser sa pizza si il y a un ingrédient qu'on n'aime pas. La décoration & l'ambiance étaient parfaites. Peut aussi bien convenir à un date en amoureux qu'à une soirée entre amis. Je recommande fortement.View more

La carte des mocktails pourraient être plus étoffée. 3 au total dont un indisponible. Les 2 autres n'était pas bon un au tobacco l'autre à l'espresso. Je souligne le service! The intimate, laid-back atmosphere, burlesque-style décor, soft jazzy music, & excellent, reasonably priced cocktail menu make it the perfect setting for a date night. We ordered several cocktails & a mocktail, all of which were delicious & expertly prepared. They also serve a variety of wines & beers. If you happen to feel a little peckish, they've got you covered with a food menu to enjoy with their extensive list of beverages. Classic bar munchies like olives, nuts, & popcorn, as well as some incredible dips of either goat cheese, eggplant, or hummus. We especially enjoyed the goat cheese dip. They also offer larger dishes like pizza, a sandwich, & beef tartare. With a great central location & wonderful service, we will most definitely return on an actual date to enjoy this lovely speakeasy.View more

Nice cocktails in a cool atmosphere. In this case, Magpie probably refers to the disorganized mishmash of unrelated decorations spread over the place, as the word could be defined as "a person who collects things, especially things of little use or value". But it's a fun speakeasy experience, with a great vibe & a cool secret entrance on Gilford. Unfortunately, they seemed understaffed that night & so the service was slow, but friendly. The Gins'N Roses cocktail was the nicest I've tried there so far. Apparently, at happy hour the cocktails are only $10, the pizza is $17, & they sometimes have live music.View more

I found out about Magpie Magique through TikTok & IG videos on my feed & I was pleasantly surprised with my experience! My girlfriend & I thought we'd only come here for cocktails (which were great) but the food was AMAZING! My favourite was the cheese dip & their pizza. We would come back again for dinner & drinks. The atmosphere & the service were impeccable & we highly recommend it!View more

Bar assez tranquille. L'entrée est une porte secrète. Les cocktails sont bons ainsi que les « entrées ». On ne peut pas vraiment manger un repas sur place hormis la pizza. Bon endroit si vous voulez passer une soirée tranquille entre amis ou en couple. Si vous cherchez plutôt une ambiance festive comme un club, ce n'est pas l'endroit.View more

Recently visited Magpie Magique for a datenight & loved it. The decor & ambiance are great! We sat at the bar so we got to see the drinks being made & conversed with the bar manager. We enjoyed our drinks, highly recommend their pisco sour & old fashioned! The food was really good too. Get the truffle honey popcorn, pizza of the moment & the mouhamara. We'll definitely be back to try more cocktails!View more
