Mae Sri Comptoir Thaï is a counter-serve Kuai Tiao place. We serve Thai noodles along with special rice dishes from our family's secret recipes. The name 'Mae Sri' literally mean “Mother Sri”. Sri is the name of Pamika’s mother. We believe in keeping the highest standard with fast serving and fresh ingredients.

Resto typique thai comme il n'y en a pas beaucoup à Montréal, le thai basil pork que j'ai pris fut très bon & traditionnel, très bon service amical, ma copine a un peu mois apprécié sa soupe au porc rouge (principalement les wonton & boulettes de viande) mais a apprécié le bouillon. Le thé vert au lait est un délice. Très belle expérience nous allons y retourner !
This is my new go-to Thai restaurant in MTL. I can tell it is very authentic Thai food with the almost same taste & quality I could have in Bankok. PRICE IS ALSO REASONABLE, as it should be for real Thai food. I had Tom yum soup as their soups were touted as their specialization. & it was the best Ton yum I've had in MTL. But be aware, there's no luxurious decor or fancy cocktails as some people may prefer.
A friend & I stopped here for dinner & it was pretty good! The staff were very nice. The kar pow was great & my friend really liked her Tom yum soup! If I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely try the Thai ice tea with condensed milk & the papaya salad.
Food is good. Portions are small, prices are high. You must order at the counter, & the credit/debit machine still asks for tips, as if someone took your order at your table... at least they bring you the food. Next is, there is very little space to hang your winter jacket. You will be sharing by putting youra on top of other people's jackets. As if that was hygienic. They have the menu web based only. So many wrongs don't make it right...

The food was really good, had the baa mee moo soup. Service was good too, not too long despite going there as a big group. However, there was a very strong bad smell in the entire restaurant (basically smelled like the toilet) - that really affected the overall experience. If it wasn't a work event I would've left before ordering food due to the smell.
Tout avait l'air bon & la serveuse était sympatique mais il y avait une forte odeur de litière à chat dans l'endroit. Nous sommes partis avant de commander.
Cool place, cooler people. Pick a table & then you can scan a QR code for a digital menu, or grab a menu from the front. Once you have decided, head to the register, place your order, & take a number. Quick & easy & excellent food.

The soup warms your body & tastes great. The only thing missing to enjoy it more is a soup spoon. Using a regular spoon for soups isn't an enjoyable experience. The rice was soft & perfectly cooked. The chicken was also soft & succulent. Cutting it with the spoon was really easy.
Suite à plusieurs plaintes de québecois fragile aux mets épicés, ils ont décidé de descendre le niveau de piquant dans tout leurs plats. Cela fait descendre un peu l'authenticité de leur cuisine. Mais cela dit, maintenant que nous le savons, nous pouvons personnaliser le niveau de piquant, juste à le demander. Leur salade de poulet frit est absolument fantastique !
Have been ordering out from here for several years. I love the chicken green curry dish but the last couple of times I ordered the chicken has been very hard to find even tho the price remains relatively stable. I don't think 6 bites of chicken can be sold as a chicken curry. I have been very disappointed.
