If you're the kind of person who likes playing pool, great drinks and great food for cheap Mad Hatters is where you should go. It’s located at the center of Crescent Street, but curtained off from St. Catherine. Even though the décor is rustic, the vibe here is still relaxed (at least until the late hours, when a DJ often appears and things become more clubby).

Review Summary

Mad Hatter Pub is described as a lively dive bar with pool, ample seating, and cheap drinks that attract a big weekend crowd and a city vibe. The vibe is often praised as fun and authentic with friendly staff and good service when things run smoothly. Some reviews warn of long waits to be served, crowded nights, and inconsistent or unprofessional service, and a few patrons mention feeling unsafe or uncomfortable due to other guests. Cleanliness issues are noted, including a persistent odor and sticky surfaces in the bathrooms, and at times there is no food offered or heating in cold weather. Overall it remains a popular spot for drinks and games, though guests advise caution about crowding, cleanliness, and safety.

The best bar near Concordia for billards, ping pong, jenga & karaoke (only on Thursdays) !

For super casual group get-togethers, this pub is a fun option. There are large booths, games, Jenga, pool tables, & ping pong. The cocktails were generous & pricing fair. The french fries were similar to what you would get at a MacDonald's. There are events - we happened to go on a Thursday, which is karaoke night - that are quite entertaining. However, the floors were sticky & bumpy. The stalls were almost open to the public & there was no paper towel & little toilet paper. Service was friendly but slow as it seemed like there was only one waitress walking around taking orders & payments. Another patron grabbed my friend's behind & we left.

Superbe bar pour manger sur le pouce & passer du bon temps entre amis. Les prix sont vraiment abordables & vous pourrez jouer au billard au jenga ou encore au ping-pong. Je recommande!
