Will come back when the store is officially opening on Friday! 🥳 They look cuuute & the tastes won't disappoint you. Luckily didn't wait in line for long & was told that 1hour plus waiting time for the drinks. So went to have dinner & then picked them up. Be aware that they stop taking orders about 30mins before the closing time currently.View more

I always like a good drink, either a milk tea or a fresh fruit juice after a great dinner. So my friends & I went to try Machi Machi on Bishop Street, in Downtown Montreal. I really love the variety of drinks they have : tea, milk tea (vegan, no dairy), latte & fresh juice. I had for myself a Grapefruit Slush with jelly in their iconic (sooo cute) bottle. Stopped by while waiting for a table at the resturant next door. Machi Machi is a wonderful place to grab a boba & chill! So many drink options, & a very quick & introvert-friendly ordering system. I got a creamy mango-grapefruit slush, & it was sweet & tangy. The shop is cute & friendly, with some interesting books available for reading. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area.View more

Not many options. To sum up, you get to choose between different matcha drinks & milk tea. It's a shame because I really enjoy fruity boba drinks but all the mango drinks were smoothies. Also, it's expensive & disappointing. The decor also looks depressing & barren 😭 they really need to fill that empty space… plants or something will doView more

The best bubble tea shop in MTL so far. Unlike some other places, their quality & tastes are representative of what you find in their locations in Asia. Their tapiocas & taro balls are always chewy & cooked to perfection. All their drinks are delicious & have strong tea flavors.View more

I was confused while ordering with the machine :( there was no cashier at the front. The girl just went out to pass the drinks to customers. I hope they would have someone at the front in order to explain the menu tho as I was super confused with the drinks tbh :) Overall, the drink was ok, nothing much special. The girl at the cash recommended me Taro Latte with mixed taro balls & tapioca, & it's one of the best bubble tea I had ever!! & I've tried a looooot of different bubble tea 😂 I highly recommend that drink if you like taro flavour! a small & cozy spot for drinks! they offer a variety of different drink flavours that all sound very yummy. personally, i found the prices quite expensive for the food we were getting, the taste isn't particularly outstanding but it's comforting enough. i got the black milk tea drink that came with a mochi, though the drink wasn't anything special, i was pleasantly surprised at how warm & chewy the mochi was, it wasn't too sweet & tasted delicious! it was a nice experience but i don't think i'd necessarily come back for the drinks since they didn't stand out that much & were quite pricey. i would recommend coming just for the experience.View more

Totallyy hooked on Mango slush matcha jello! Machi has a different style compared to other boba joints, definitely worth trying. Too bad we can't see these pretty drinks with opaque paper containers (yes yes less plastic, environment friendly). Drinks taste great, though are pricey. I really like their milk tea with crème brûlée & matcha latte with panna cotta. Some certain drinks don't allow any modifications on sugar & ice level. They have specific instructions on how to enjoy certain drinks, e.g: shaking the lattes, stirring the crème brûlée's, etc. Busy store so expect some waiting.View more

The drinks were super tasty, you can also decide on the % of sugar you want in them which is super cool! The decor is super minimalist but cute, there's not really space to sit inside so keep that in mind!View more

A few weeks after its opening, Machi Machi has already started to put 2x more ice in its popular creme brulee milk tea to make more profit. This is very frustrating because otherwise the drinks are good, but its unacceptable to pay 10$ for a drink & have it half filled with ice, to the point where you can barely appreciate the cream & the boba. We tried to order with "no ice" the next time we went, but they say the ice is "fixed". No wonder why...View more

I finally got to try this new location & it was worth it!! The flavours mix well with the panna cotta at the bottom & it was very tasty. As for the wait time, ive seen a few reviews where it took an hour, for me it personally took around 10 minutes to get the drinks & around an 8 minute wait in the line. The design is very cute & simple. It deserves the hype its getting!View more

Super cute new boba shop, friendly service. Absolutely adored my creme brûlée drink. The strawberry one is also delicious & super fun. Would love to try all their different flavours. A little bit expensive but fun to try. I recommend going around 12 when they open because it gets really busy.View more

Finally Montreal has it's own Machi Machi store!! I've come here several times since the opening, & the wait time seems to be less & less. The most recent time I came on a weekday, waited less than 5 minutes to order, & another ~10 minutes for the drinks to be made. Staff are super friendly & helpful in deciding which flavours to try. I love their bottled panna cotta drinks-- the taro & matcha flavours, in particular. The bottles are plastic, so not as reusable as I'd prefer. Great spot for a grab & go drink! Not a spot to stay for long-- no bathrooms, lack of seating, uncomfortably warm inside (like a sauna), etc.View more
