Incredible food, & even better service. Jimmy (the owner) stopped by our table a few times & was incredibly personable. We shared some good conversation & laughs. He suggested the xango (fried cheesecake) for dessert. The xango & all our other food selections far exceeded our expectations. 100% recommend stopping by Macbar, whether you're a local, or in MTL for a visit. Can't wait to visit again!

Mykonos & greek salad were with bitter onion. Staff was chatting with themselves & nobody paid attention for the clients. the chef worked without gloves & licked a sausage from his hand while adding sauce to plastic disposable portion cups
Worst service ever. The restaurant was three-quarters empty, there were three servers with little to do. All of them studiously ignored me & didn't take my order. After sitting there for 15 minutes while they acted as if I wasn't there, I finally went to the kitchen to order & they consented to serve me. Never have I felt so unwelcome in a restaurant.
Très bon endroit pour manger des Mac & Cheese! Nous y sommes allés un samedi soir, il y avait peu de monde, le service a été très rapide, le serveur était très gentil. Il y a du choix sur le menu, vous pouvez même créer vous même votre Mac&Cheese, les portions étaient très généreuses (certains convives n'ont pas réussi à finir leurs assiettes) & la nourriture était excellente!
J'ai personnellement été très satisfaite & agréablement surprise de ma visite, autant pour ce qui est de la nourriture que du service. Il n'y avait pas beaucoup de monde dans le restaurant, le service a été très rapide & notre serveur était vraiment gentil. Côté nourriture, il n'y avait rien de sec ou de mauvais, tout était très bon, grosses portions également! J'imagine qu'il fallait juste laisser au resto un temps d'adaptation.
Les tarifs sont assez raisonnables pour les plats élaborés mais les tarifs pour les plats de base ne me semblent pas justifiés. Je trouve qu'il manque de constance dans les recettes, il s'agissait de ma 3eme fois.
Le service est correct, mais manque de conseil.

Première visite ce soir. J'ai commandé pour emporter un macaroni ''bacon au miel'', qui devait contenir des herbes fraîches & gratiné avec de la chapelure Panko. Arrivée chez moi, pas d'herbes fraîches & pas de pank. J'appelle au restaurant, où on m'obstine que les herbes sont dans la sauce (totalement blanche dans mon plat), & que le panko est très légèrement saupoudré dessus (je sais ce que c'est du panko, il n'y en avait pas du tout). Quand je souligne ces faits, on me dit que le panko a dû être oublié, & pour les herbes, on me répond ''& bien, désolé''. La seule solution qu'on me propose est que je revienne pour qu'on mette des herbes dans mon plat (bien oui, je vais rapporter mon plat qui sera rendu froid, avec le fromage tout figé & immangeable pour une pognée d'herbes). Aucune autre alternative proposée. Franchement décevant, je n'ai pas du tout eu la moitié des ingrédients que je devais avoir, mais on n'a pas oublié de tous le mes charger par contre. Je n'aime pas qu'on se moque de moi.
Leur site internet est uniquement en anglais, & le numéro de téléphone du restaurant indiqué sur la facture n'est pas le bon.
Portion généreuse prix abordable choix choix tellement bon je n aurais jamais pensé qu un .Mac Chelsea m aurais séduit à ce point d ajouter çe Resto à mes favori. Autant entre ami qu un repas d affaire simplement bon bon bon merci
First,the interior was nice with a open kitchen but the rest of the experience was a nightmare...not only the food took so long(40minutes for Mac & cheese) but the taste was horrible & over priced(for the quality)
The sauce was warm but the pasta was cold & it tasted like powder & water.
I went to Mac bar cause my friend bought me a take out last week & is weird cause it tasted very different(more creamy & cheesy)
I'm not very difficult person but the staff (kitchen & front house)
Seems they don't know what they doing,the waitress didn't know the menu so she couldn't answer all my question about the food(the kitchen didn't have a bell so they were yelling "pick up" couples of time & no one was getting the food...I was about to pick up myself.
They say "the first impression is very important" but Mac bar & fromage didn't do it for me.
Food was very poor quality & the services was .....very poor specially when the waitress charge 2$ gratine for something was included (smoked bacon Mac&cheese).
Overall is not for me & I won't recommend to my friends & family when you know you can make better Mac&cheese at home.
