The broth was so delicious. It's tangy with a slight citrusy, spicy taste. For the meat, I had the crunchy chicken bites. It was super good. Our server who was also the cashier was very nice & attentive.
Ordinary Chinese food which I ordered are beef tomato noodle soup, fried rice & bakcoy with garlic
Ordinary Chinese food which we ordered fried rice, tomato noodle soup & bakcoy vegetable with garlic
The service was okay but the food was mediocre, almost no toppings. The noodle barely had 4 tiny shrimps & a few soybean sprouts. Not worth the price
The staff was friendly & the food is fresh.
I enjoy my stir fried noodle, even after I mention it was a bit salty. They offer to redo a new one. Very kind of them.
I ordered the pickled noodles & fish bowl. The food came out very quickly & while a simple composition, was very delicious. My server & other staff were very quick & nice & the restaurant has decent amounts of seating. Would go again.
I really love their fried rice & noodles!!🤤& the portions are always a lot!! I think the Sichuan pepper flavor is my favorite & super spicy.
Love their taro & matcha drink too☺?
This is chinatown montreal. The noodle soupe avec Angus beaf at Le Belle Epicee is a fusion delight, with tender meat & flavorful Angus beef with rich, savory Chinese broth & pho noodles, offering a satisfying, hearty bowl with perfectly velveted beef that soaks up the balanced, complex flavors-a must-try here for those seeking asian flavors. The soupe is a little but spicy but just enough for me. The portion is big & can be for sharing. I also ordered citron lemon tea & very refreshing & for me good combo for the signature pho noodles soupe. Price is ranging from 15$ to 25$ per person but again maybe good for sharing. The people there are also accommodating.
The portion size is pretty weak especially for the General Tao chicken - you do not get what's in the picture. Fish says walleye, but it's not. Soup noodles are good, & the $3 drinks are well priced. The Sichuan food is pretty authentic.
The'original' (highest spice) soup base is authentic & delicious. We have some doubts about other items on the menu, since the one less authentic addition (the sliced beef) doesn't quite fit with the flavor profile- but we would definitely recommend the noodle soup with the original broth + fish for an easy & satisfying meal. For reference, the bowl pictured easily serves two
