I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lylac Resto Lounge, & it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! Food: The food was absolutely outstanding! Each dish was fresh, flavorful, & crafted with care. From the appetizers to the main courses & desserts, everything we tried was delicious & beautifully presented. The menu offers a great variety of options, catering to different tastes & dietary preferences. Whether you're in the mood for savory or something light, Lylac Resto Lounge has something special for everyone. Service: The service was top-notch. The staff were warm, welcoming, & incredibly attentive, making sure we felt comfortable & had everything we needed. They were knowledgeable about the menu & provided excellent recommendations. We never felt rushed, & the overall service was friendly & professional. Atmosphere: The atmosphere was perfect-modern, cozy, & family-friendly. The elegant décor & comfortable seating created a relaxing environment that's great for any occasion, whether it's a casual dinner or a special celebration. The ambiance strikes a nice balance between upscale & inviting, making it suitable for both adults & kids. Birthday Party Experience: My friend hosted her child's birthday party here, & it couldn't have gone better! The staff went above & beyond to accommodate the party, & the kids had a fantastic time. The restaurant provided ample space, & the atmosphere was lively yet organized. They made sure everything was set up perfectly, & the food was a hit with both kids & adults. Convenience: One of the standout features of Lylac Resto Lounge is the convenience. There is plenty of free parking available, which is a huge plus, especially for events. It made the experience stress-free for all the guests attending the birthday party. I am giving it 2 stars because this used to be one of my favorite restaurants for the past 10 years. I frequently visited & often brought friends, even those from outside Montreal. While I understand that prices have increased, as they have at many restaurants, my issue is with the discrepancy between the menu prices & the final bill. For example, my plate was listed as $28 on the menu, but I was charged $35, & with tax & tips, it came to $47. The same thing happened with my friend, who was visiting for the first & last time. Sadly, this will be my last visit to Laylac, & I now understand why it was nearly empty. I had no additional items to my plate such as salad or fries like stated by the manager bellow , neither did my friend & both of our plates were priced differently on the menu & on the receiptVoir plus

At the door before getting a table, they mentioned to have Shisha available. But once we got the table & ordered the food, they said there must be some confusion & that they have stopped offering Shisha. Ruined our entire evening.
