NDG Luncheonette is an absolute gem! The food here is AMAZING - everything we tried on the menu is incredibly tasty, fresh, & perfectly balanced. They maintain such high quality while keeping prices reasonable. The atmosphere is fantastic, & the staff goes above & beyond with their kindness & attentive service. This was Our first experience with food from montreal & it didn't disappoint. The coffee tasted fresh even though we came in the afternoon. The jjs breakfast & everything was seasoned just right with light fluffy eggs & crispy bacon & a bite from the sausage. The pancake came with apple compote & goat cheese & was phenominal. The sweetness of the apple complimented the goat cheese on top of a slightly firm but very fluffy pancake. The fried chicken sandwich was honestly the best one I've ever had. The atmosphere here felt so welcoming & homly. This place is definitely some where you have to come when visiting Montréal.Voir plus

Went to NDG Luncheonette for brunch on Sunday, & it was a fantastic experience. The service from the staff was amazing-friendly, attentive, & welcoming. The interior has a charming old-fashioned diner vibe that adds to the experience. Just a heads-up, it's a cash-only spot, which can be a bit inconvenient nowadays, but the quality of the food & atmosphere more than make up for it. Cash Only!!! Figured that might be helpful to mention up front but don't let that dissuade you from checking out this 5 star place! Food was excellent, really great menu. Waitress was sweet & our food was served promptly. Loved the old school diner esthétique. The capacity of the place is pretty small, even with the outdoor seating, so get there early! My boyfriend hates breakfast places but he enjoyed this one! He had the bagel & lox & they smoke their own salmon!Voir plus
