Had high hopes as the atmosphere was nice & the staff was friendly.
However, was extremely disappointed eating here. It's catered towards Westerners that don't eat Korean food & is very overpriced for what it is. The menu was confusing. There was also Korean bbq on the menu (& mentioned in the restaurant name) but it's not authentic Korean bbq, more like a bulgogi you might get in a food court.
The worst part is that 4/7 of my group got diarrhea or upset stomachs after eating here.
I would avoid going here because specially if you are used to eating authentic Korean food.View more
One of the best Korean places I've ever visited!!!! Just outstanding food, super observant service & good recommendations. We had quite a few dishes & every time it surpassed the other, ended with just super delicious Matcha Mochi which can't be missed!!!! 2000% would be visiting again whenever in Montreal!!!!View more
Good place for original Korean food... Even if I know this food I was surprised by the meal's offer. I'll be back at my next trip at Montreal to continue to explore the menu.View more
This is the best Korean I have had so far. The depth of flavour is exquisitely balanced & gratifying in each bite. This is not hyperbole, it's a personal recommendation from someone with love affair with Korean cuisine.View more
Delicious food. They offer an elevated food preparation & presentation & we enjoyed it. Don't expect an authentic old school Korean experience as you may be disappointed if you came looking that. We had the full moon menu & chose the pork & so kalbi. Both were very good.View more
We had an awesome experience at Luna! The food is exceptional, it looks & taste very much like genuine Korean food. The service is curteous, prompt & very pleasant. The atmosphere is cosy with darker tones & the place is clean. Overall we had an amazing experience!View more
Quite a disappointing experience overall, & we generally love Korean food. I had the jaepchae & my husband had the bibimbap, both with pork. His dish was fairly warm, not hot. Mine was lukewarm. The pork was placed on top of both dishes & was room temperature - obviously cooked earlier & added at the time of serving. We didn't realize one brought one's own wine & so we ordered green tea. I was shocked when the bill for the tea was $9 for two cups. A mug, hot water, a teabag, no refills offered because the one server was crazy busy with the whole restaurant to serve ( she was literally running). All in all, quite pricey & definitely not worth it.
A little Korean treasure with great food & excellent service!

Incredible authentic Korean dishes & very friendly fast service!
Took us a little time to be seated but understandable with how busy it was. Reservations are a must.
Cozy & intimate atmosphere, perfect for groups or 1 on 1. Highly recommend! Will definitely be coming back.View more
I lived in Seoul for a time & was both excited & a little apprehensive about trying Luna. I needn't have worried: The food was delicious, especially the beef bulgogi, a Korean BBQ dish that, when properly cooked, is both tender & flavorful. The mochi matte-infused ice cream at the end was also a delightful surprise. The service, especially a multilingual Ukrainian waiter, was excellent. I also really appreciated that you can bring your own wine. My only complaint is that the five-appetizer'Pleine Lune' tasting meal is, in fact, three appetizers plus four delicious steamed dumplings the restaurant counts as two appetizers as the dish contains two different types of dumplings. I also hankered for more kimchi. Unlike in Korea, where kimchi is typically a generous & unlimited staple in meals, the only kimchi on offer was a tiny plate at the beginning. Those shortcomings aside, Luna is authentic & tasty & I'd happily return.

Best japchae in town! Lovely service, great table d'hôte menu, don't miss this place if you like Korean foodView more
Luna is my favorite Korean restaurant in Montréal. Everything we had there was amazing.View more
Had a great dinner here. You can enjoy decent Korean cuisine here. I liked that the taste wasn't too strong or spicy. The food served as a course was nea. I wish the pieces of pork in the stir-fried pork were a little biggeView more
This is such a great restaurant! Authentic amazing Korean cuisine! Loved the presentation of everything we ordered! Service was so so good! Very patient at explaining everything to us! & you can bring your own wine! Would highly recommend this spot & would definitely eat here again!View more
Luna Korean Restaurant is an absolute treasure! From the moment you walk in, the cozy ambiance & friendly staff make you feel welcome. The menu offers an authentic range of Korean dishes that are bursting with flavor. I tried their combo & it was exceptional. The ingredients tasted fresh, & was perfectly seasoned & cooked to perfection right at the table. The side dishes were plentiful & delicious, adding a nice variety to the meal.View more
the food isn't traditional korean, it feels like white people tried to make korean food. its not horrible just not authentic. very disappointed but the service was goodView more
The food was very mediocre. The portion sizes for the appetizers were laughably small, especially for two people & incredibly expensive for what it was. Everything tasted very bland too, not really what you would expect eating korean food. The server was nice though.View more
Coming from Vancouver, I've never been to a fine dining Korean restaurant. We had their set menu that was priced around $50/person. The food was spectacular & felt authentic. The atmosphere was cozy & nicely renovated. There were 5 side dishes served prior to the 5 appetizers. We were 3 people & each chose a different main so we got to try everything. I think I would recommend the bibimbap as first choice. Finally, the meal ended with mochi ice cream. All the food were perfectly cooked & marinated. I found spiciness of the dishes, such as kimchi, was never overpowering as someone that can't handle spicy well. It had a good balance of sweetness with subtle spiciness in it. Overall, the staff were nice & super efficient. We never really needed to flag them down because they were attentive to the cues of the table. Just take note that you can bring your own wine & you need to order two of the same kinds of menu during the weekend. Overall, I felt like the 50$ set menu dinner was worthwhile. I couldn't finish my main so I will have some for lunch the next day!View more
Excellent Korean experience. Really liked the bibimbap. Price is reasonableView more
Food was amazing. The service was great. Highly recommend Bibimbap as a main dish. Korean BBQ was ok, not a must. Appetizers were small, yet enough for the experience menu. Prices & the quality of food & service are very compatible. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is the force 18% tips. I think it's a disrespectful format most restaurants are working with. I must say I almost gave 3 stars for that.View more
Reduced menu on Fridays & Saturdays, so don't except to get Korean bbq or to pick your meal on those nights. You are forced to have their table d'hôte which is ordinary & expensive. As soon as we finished our plates, the waitress rushed to ask how we would be paying, did not even ask us if we wanted coffee or dessert, she just wanted to rush us out to seat another table. Overall, extremely overpriced for some fried rice with veggies & a bit of meat. We will most certainly not be returning. There are far better restaurants to chose from in that price range that actually want clients to enjoy their time without rushing them.View more
A good experience but maybe not as special as we were hoping. I'd love to see Korean food beyond bibimbap, japchae & barbeque. I thought the appetizers we great!
Food was amazing! Little space but very cozy. It is busy, so the seating time is very strict to 2 hours. It is on the pricier side for korean dining, ideal for romantic dates or family outings. Waiter was a pearl.View more
Four stars instead of five only because the Korean bbq wasn't available in the demi lune tasting menu. Otherwise a perfect meal, the fried chicken starter was the best, it could have been a main dish!
I was pleasantly surprised with the formula. Typical Korean dishes with a nice touch that transforms the taste. Ever since I have been at Luna, I wake up at night thinking of their galbi mandoo. Tears in my eyes, as I remember the joy I felt as the dumpling caressed my taste buds.
Also the server was pretty funny.
Everything was amazing! For once a korean restaurant with interesting & quality food! Service is exceptional, with waiters doing an amazing job making you comfortable! Love the fact they take time explaining us what we are having! The restaurant has a nice decoration & comfortable seating but if you are a group of 6 it can be a bit tight. Also the music was « interesting » 😂 weird plucking of elastics, it doesnt even bother me but I had to mention it as it was a hilarious psrt of our night!
Will definitely be back for a quality bibimbap!View more
such a Special place: delicious authentic Korean food, warm & welcoming staff, cozy ambiance. We had the "Menu dégustation Demi-Lune" & it did NOT disappoint. The appetizers left us wanting more & the bibimbap was so Good 😊. Cannot wait to come back! Added Bonus: it's a bring your own wine place!
Very good Korean restaurant. Although on weekends, you have to take the table d'hôte. Just keep that in mind. A bit expensive for Korean but byow.
