Food was wonderful. Music volume way too high. Hard to have a conversation.
We were seated near the kitchen & could regularly smell the cleaning fluids being used on the floor throughout our meal. We should have asked to be moved but I must say I'm surprised there is even seating there given its proximity to the kitchen given the lights, smells & noise.
Steak tartare & tuna steak (albeit very small) were very good.
Had an amazing time. Great food, great drinks, great service as always!
Nice service but...
Menus were filthy
I ordered lobster rolls / several pieces were super cold - overall disappointing
Linguine w seafood -
small portion of pasta (costs so little?!?) - my son was still hungry after his meal.
Not worth the $.
Monday after new year's was busy. They were out of a few beer choices. Wait staff should have known instead of taking our order only yo return to our table to tell us that they were out of pale ales. Otherwise service was good & food was tasty.
We like your restaurant a lot. Our waiter, James was very nice. We had a great time
Second visit for my wife & I, brought our daughter & family to enjoy dining at Lucille.
A dozen oysters were enjoyed by 4 of us.
Our choice of main dish varied from sea bass to surf & turf, fish & chips for me ( quite salty).
Our daughter enjoyed her wedge salad, a dish not found in Europe she says. Younger grandson had the grilled octopus, & polished it off.
We had a dry Prosecco with the oysters, & a btle of Sancerre for the main course , both suggested by our attentive & knowledgeable waiter Baptiste. Bravo
I've been going to Lucille's since the original location on Monkland. We were quite underwhelmed at the Fairview location. It's starting to look like a soulless corporate franchise & the food was just Ok. I guess people on the West Island value the vibe more than the quality as it was quite busy.
It wasn't bad, just plain. & Overpriced. under seasoned steak, over seasoned fish (sea bass) , flavourless beef tartare, weird chicken dish, etc. the server was a young girl. She meant well but service was a 2/5. But I guess she looked the part.
It's become more theatre than experience. Too bad, it was a stand out restaurant.
Delicious food - beautiful presentation - festive environment... sat in booth across from the bar & had a blast with friends
The table was in a awkward spot leaving a less than stellar costly dining experience .
Service was good! I had higher expectations for the food. The plates are big but the quality isn't outstanding. Ribs & fish & chips were on the dry side...
Lovely restaurant, staff is friendly. Dessert is delicious. The only tiny issues were the ribs are a bit too salty & my linguini was very runny.
waited over 1hr for food. we asked for bread & were give 4 pieces to toast for a group of 7. food did not arrive at the same time
