C'est une superbe place très bonne nourriture (je recommande la pieuvre, barre rayé, saumons, stake ........) c'est pas ma 1er visite & pas la dernière.😁
It's been quite some time since I have eaten at one of the Lucille's restaurants & it was my first visit to this location.
The decor is modern & the atmosphere is inviting. When entering the premises you are greeted by huge slabs of beef.
Our reservation was for 7 pm on a Friday. It was not very busy, yet the hostess tried to seat us at the worst table near the toilet. Ya, not happening.
Once we got to another place to sit, we ordered IPAs & dinner.
I had the Surf & Turf that consisted of a lobster roll, ribs, & fries. My husband had the Steak & fries. Mine was delicious & a nice size portion but my husband's, even though it was very tasty was a small portion. He walked away hungry.
My order of ribs was tender & fell off the bone but not very meaty. The sauce was tangy & ever so sweet. The bun of the lobster roll was lightly buttered & not overloaded with lobster. Too bad. I was expecting more. I know the prices of food have gone up but charge another $5 & serve a bigger roll.
Service was very friendly, efficient, & quick.
Will I go back? Probably. The food was good.
I love Lucilles, I go to this location pretty often but I was very disappointed last night to the point where I have to share my experience.
Went for dinner with a friend last night, we waited an hour & 15 minutes for our main dish. In between this, we did have an appetizer. The waitress kept telling us that it wouldn't be long & that our food was coming but the wait was just ridiculous. If the restaurant was busy, I would completely understand HOWEVER, there was barely anyone left inside as it was way after 9:00pm. At one point the waitress came up & said since it's been taking so long, she will try & get us a free dessert.
We got our main meal around 10 & finished up around 10:20. At this time, the waitress tells us the dessert options, I asked for a creme brûler but because the kitchen was closed, it wasn't an option. I asked for the maple cheesecake & as I said that, she starts to walk away without asking my friend what she wanted… My friend asks what other options there were as she was not interested in the maple cheesecake which is when the waitress told us she could only offer us 1 dessert.. EL OH EL. 1 dessert for two friends to share is cheap. If I was with my husband or if my friend was with her boyfriend that would make sense to share, but telling two friends to share a dessert??? The waitress clearly could have done more to rectify our situation, an amount off our bill, a free drink each , two desserts at least but no. I don't understand how one could not be embarrassed telling two people to share a small dessert. Very embarrassing, especially when we couldn't order something else even if we wanted to since the kitchen was closed.
Such a great dinner experience! To start, the $1 oysters are a must! Super fresh & absolutely worth it.
We followed up with two appetizers: the burrata in a creamy truffle aioli & the beef tartare. Both were beautifully presented & delicious.
For mains, we had the lobster rolls & the steak frites with chimichurri. The lobster rolls were delicious as always, served on a soft, buttery brioche bun. The steak was cooked perfectly, & the chimichurri brought everything together with the perfect finishing touch.
The service was fantastic! friendly, attentive, & quick. Overall, a great atmosphere & a menu that doesn't disappoint. Highly recommend & will definitely be back!
Very good short baby ribs & extremely good & hospitable service. The beer is nice & cold in very good contrast with the bbq sauce & the smokiness of the ribs.
Service was phenomenal & the lunch special can't be beat. The octopus was delicious & worth the supplement. The tartare was really good too, delicately seasoned & surprisingly light (for tartare).
The atmosphere inside is nice but facing a parking lot is a bit uninspiring
