I recently visited this restaurant & had a mixed experience. For appetizers, I ordered the burrata & fried chicken, followed by the Wood Oven Chicken for my main & tiramisu for dessert.
The food itself was very flavorful & delicious. The fried chicken & tiramisu were standout dishes - both were incredibly tasty & memorable. However, I was disappointed with the portion size of the Wood Oven Chicken. For a main dish, it only came with six small pieces, which felt underwhelming - especially since the fried chicken appetizer was actually larger than the main.
It's worth noting that this is more of a seafood restaurant, & I didn't order any seafood, so other guests' experiences may differ. That said, even if you're not a seafood eater, there are still good options available.
Service was a bit disappointing. Our server seemed rushed & annoyed, didn't explain much, & appeared more focused on getting our orders in quickly rather than creating a welcoming experience.
On the positive side, the restaurant had a cozy, casual, & lively atmosphere, & it was very clean with some unique decor elements that added charm. Despite being busy, our orders were accurate & arrived in a reasonable time.
In terms of value, I felt the experience could have been better - especially given the rushed service. While it's more of a higher-end spot, the prices weren't outrageous.
A plus was the easy parking since it's located in a mall, & our reservation ensured there was no wait.
Overall, I'd recommend this place for the food, especially the fried chicken & tiramisu, but I'd suggest going in with tempered expectations for portion sizes & service. If you enjoy seafood, your experience may be even better.
Absolutely delicious NY strip & Bavette (steak frites) with nice well grilled juicy shrimps.
The vibe is always awesome. My only let down were the calamari starters. Too chewy for my personal taste. Service is great as always & friendly.
Excellent souper.
The service was good, the food was nice but I also felt it was overpriced.
Always a great Time! Service is amazing, the food is delicious & the atmosphere is great!
Great dinner time, good meals, good drinks , music wasn't loud making it a good restaurant for business or family interactions.
Le prix des plats est correct par contre, ça prendrait des options de vin à plus bas prix. C'est bruyant.
Great food & the coconut mojito is amazing.
Service was impeccable, the only thing to mention is they need to keep the back door closed as it froze us (sitting right in front of it) everything people used it.
Food was awesome!
Service was a bit slow at first.
Will definitely return. One of the best crème brûlées & tiramisu I've had in awhile!
Good tasty foods with decent services. Only minus points are too crowded with nearer tables & dining time limit for 2 hours.
Hello, so i dined at Lucilles Fairview on Feb 15 2025. This was my second time there. The service & ambiance was as amazing as last year, sadly my dish was not.
Last year i had ordered the octopus dish & it was beyond amazing. I was raving about it for a couple of weeks. Yesterday i ordered the same dish & was sadly, wholeheatedly, disappointed. While the octopus was well cooked, the quantity was not the same as last year for about the same price (shrinkflation?), & the underlying Greek salad was not made the same way. Last year there was an almost feta puree included which was a wonderful addition tp the dish, this year they just put a couple of small pieces of feta. Definitely not the same quality dish as last year, & not something i would ever order again at Lucilles if i were to ever go back.
I should also mention we started with the large oysters, & one of the six had a slight off-putting taste, luckily no one got sick.
It's too bad really, they had a winning dish last year which made the dining experience perfect, & well worth the money spent.
