Nous avons récemment déménagé sur la Rive-Sud, & Lucille est toujours notre restaurant incontournable. C'est un établissement absolument exceptionnel, où la qualité est toujours au rendez-vous. Nous y venons chaque semaine, mais ce soir, nous avons reçu un service particulièrement remarquable de la part de Maude, une serveuse attentive, souriante & d'une grande gentillesse, un service digne des plus grands restaurants.
Chez Lucille, on peut déguster chaque jour des huîtres à 1 $, toujours parfaitement ouvertes, propres & d'une grande fraîcheur. Tout sur le menu est délicieux, mais nous avons un immense coup de coeur pour l'assiette de pieuvre, toujours cuite à la perfection : un plat à la fois rafraîchissant & gourmand. Mon conjoint, lui, est un grand amateur de leurs côtes levées, qu'il prend à chaque visite.
Les cocktails sont également excellents à chaque fois. Je recommande particulièrement leur Bloody César aux fruits de mer, un incontournable. Que ce soit pour le dîner ou le souper, Lucille est un must sur la Rive-Sud. Nous savons qu'en choisissant ce restaurant, nous ne sommes jamais déçus.
Le service est toujours très bien, mais l'expérience extraordinaire que nous avons vécue ce soir grâce à la gentillesse & au professionnalisme de Maude m'a donné envie de mettre à jour mon avis publié il y a quelques mois, avec en prime de nouvelles photos de nos plats.
Bref, nous venons souvent, mais ce soir, le service A+ a véritablement sublimé notre soirée.View more

Quel soirée magique! On a été reçu comme des rois! Axel, notre serveur, nous a tellement bien conseillé & my god qu'on a pas été déçu! & la cerise sur le Sunday, Dominique le gérant, nous a offert des billets pour un spectacle que Roger, un client, lui avait donné car il avait un conflit d'horaire. Bref, soirée inoubliable avec ma cousine qui s'est fini en riant comme des fous au show de Louis Morissette à la salle juste à côté! Just came back from here & can barely move. I am so stuffed. Had the bang bang shrimps, & they kicked off the food party with a bang. It came with a red cabage coleslaw, which the wife enjoyed, but I didn't due to the sesame oil that was sprinkled on. Washed all that down with Lucille's IPA, a light IPA that was easy to drink.
Had the chateaubriand steak plate for 2 with my wife. Sides of cheesy mashed patatoes & fries. The steak was too die for. Done to perfection, cooked exactly how we requested. Mashed patatoes wow.....& here comes the only negative thing I have to say. The fries are McCain shoestring fries. If I were the chateaubriand steak, I would have been insulted being placed beside those fries. I brought this up to the waiter who was awesome, & he agreed that the fries were sub-par but that other customers enjoyed them. I understand bro you gotta protect the brand.
A suggestion to the chef or whoever decides what fries to put out. Maybe consider quality steak cut fries with a pinch of seasoning on top.
All in all, I will be going back for sure. I will just avoid the fries.View more

I am curious why the vast majority of the reviews posted here are from so-called'local guides'….does this mean, & I believe it does, they get their meals comped in exchange for a positive review? It seems oddly disproportionate to most other restos in my view. In posting my review just now I notice I myself am listed as a'local guide'. For the record, I am not!
Was my first time here & I had no idea what to expect, so was pleasantly surprised with the menu options. Also surprised to see the menu at Point Claire Lucille's is same look in terms of graphics but not all the same food items. Interesting as I believe it is a chain?
I don't think our lovely waitress was wearing a nametag, or if she was, apologies, as I would love to call her out as being extremely friendly, helpful & a great sense of humor.
There was a bit of a tight squeeze with our four main orders at our table, where the tartare trio comes with the side of Boston lettuce leaves (instead of croutons, nice touch) & a huge plate of fries, it was all a bit challenging to manoeuvre but first world problems as they say. The maple white chocolate cheesecake was mind-blowingly yummy.View more

For seafood lovers, you can't go wrong with Lucille's. I don't like shellfish & while accompanying a group was able to find delicious options in the menu.
The waiter was quick & friendly, knew the menu well, & was able to guide us in our choices. Impeccable service with attention to details.
The atmosphere was lively, yet had a cozy edge to it.
It's not what I would recommend for a 1 on 1 romantic dinner if you are expecting some violin music on the background, however it's a great place for a slightly more upbeat date, a business meeting or outting with friends!

C'étais une première expérience pour nous dans un restaurant Lucille's. Notre serveuse Rosalie nous a donné un excellent service! Par contre la nourriture est très très ordinaire, surtout pour les prix qui sont très élevés. Nous n'y retournerons pas. Entrée d'huîtres, petites & sans leur jus naturel. Entrée de tacos au poisson, un morceau de poisson pané sec avec un gros tas de chou rouge mariné par dessus, sur un petit pain tortillas. Rien d'intéressant dans ce plat! Trempette de crabe, correct sans plus. Filet mignon, très bon. Servi seulement avec des frites qui ressemblent aux frites du McDonald's, & une très petite portion de sauce, par contre celle-ci est très bonne.View more

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lucille's, & I must say their Entrecôte steak was absolutely exceptional-perfectly cooked, tender, & full of rich flavor. The quality of the meat & the care put into its preparation truly stood out. The ambiance was inviting, & the service was attentive, making for a memorable dining experience. However, I was a bit disappointed by the cost. At over $100 per person without alcohol(sparkling water only) , the price felt quite steep, especially considering it was for a single main course & side dish. While the quality was undeniable, I expected a bit more value for the price point. Overall, Lucille's delivers on taste & atmosphere, but be prepared for a premium bill.View more

En général j'ai aimé mon expérience chez Lucille's, notre serveuse Laurence a fait un bon service, la demi pieuvre du repas principal était bonne, par contre les huitres à 1$ sont trop minuscule, les vrai amateurs d huitres vont être déçu, optez pour les huitres premium à 4$, elles sont sûrement plus grosses. Honnêtement, c'est un succès pour une première date ma copine m'a convaincu de me faire découvrir cet établissement ne serais-ce de dire que je suis sans regrets, huîtres à 1$ incroyablement frais , les linguinis au fruits de mers assaisonner en équilibre suivi du poulet au four qui a répondu à tout nos attentes , le meilleur est Julie qui a été au-delas pour le service & recommandations, le Lucille c'est à refaireView more

Food: The food is good in standard as usual. However, portion is too small for the price (e.g. crab cake). The seafood linguine is more greasy than the 1st time we had. Service: We do understand there are lots of customers during weekend evening, but we were asked several times (>=3) whether we finished our plate (not by the girl who ordered the meal for us but several other people), when we even did not finish or just the moment about to finish our plate (only about 45 min since we just entered the restaurant & look at our menu at 6.45 pm), giving us an impression that they urge us to leave as early as possible. We were far from the 1h 30 limitation for a table for 2 & the frequent urging checking up whether we finish our plate or not make it uncomfortable during our date & finally we left at around 7.45 pm. I believe Lucille is a $$-$$$ restaurant not a $ fast-food chain.View more

Lucille est notre resto pref quand on vient dans le coin. C'est un incontournable pour nous ! Malheureusement ce soir nous avions réservé une table à 19h : à l'arrivée nous avons demandé de changer de table (j'avais froid près de la porte extérieure) & ensuite 5 minutes plus tard nous devions quitter pour une urgence médicale dans la famille. On se sentait tellement mal pour la demoiselle qui nous a placé deux tables, on espère pas avoir passé pour des mauvais clients haha. Vraiment une base luck! Lors de notre visite nous avons eu un bel accueil, service impeccable, que dire du bloody césar garni d'une patte de crabe ainsi que crevettes, notre repas était 2 guédilles aux homards merveilleuses garnies accompagné de frites & assiette côte levée servi d'une guédille de homard & salade. My partner & I dined here on Saturday August 10 around 6:30PM. The place was bustling - hard to find parking nearby, we had to go underground in the free parking lot. Luckily, we did not need a reservation, there were still some free tables. We were seated right away. This restaurant has a nice terrace area & outdoor seating, it is very spacious. We noticed that the doors to the outside were open the whole time, so the temperature inside was not very cool. Decor is modern, simplistic, dark. Almost like tavern style. The lighting is dim & atmosphere very loud. They have beautiful bathrooms with individual stalls & very large sinks, you control the flow with a foot pedal. Food wise - We ordered a large ribeye type steak served with fries which was $59 & a surf & turf plate which consisted of a lobster roll, ribs & fries, this was $39. I wish Lucille's offered complimentary bread or something to start with like other restaurants do, but there wasn't any of that. Everything is an extra. Most main meals don't even come with sides so those are added costs. My partner recently dined at the Pointe Claire Fairview location & said he had a much better experience there. The food was tastier, more seasoned & cooked well. The steak here wasn't as tender - there were lot of fatty bits that were inedible. He tasted my ribs & said they were "off". I didn't have much to compare it to, it was my first time & I did enjoy the ribs & lobster roll - they were flavorful, but the roll itself was quite small. I was expecting a more generous portion considering the price. You do get a lot of fries at least, these will fill you up. They are small shoestring type fries - a bit too crispy for my liking. I didn't like that they placed the fries directly under the ribs so these were all coated in bbq sauce & soggy by the time I got to them. We did not opt for any special drinks or desserts- these were in the $15-$20 range, overpriced & unnecessary if you had a full meal. When came time to pay, I had Lucilles gift cards which seemed to cause some confusion or problem with our server. He wasn't able to access the funds & had to ask for help & come back 2 or 3 times to scan the cards. This was a bit embarassing, made us feel like it was a big hassle & having other patrons look at us like our cards were rejecting when there was nothing wrong wasn't the best experience. Combined service, food, atmosphere & pricing, it was an average experience. Nothing that made us say wow, so likely won't be back at this location.View more

Incredible experience. Jeanne, our server went absolutely above & beyond. The other wait staff were also incredible. There's no point going to the Ritz Carlton or the Keg when this place is so close to home. I could not recommend Lucille's more. My only complaint is that Google Reviews won't let me give them 6 stars.View more
