Went for a double date, it was disappointing to not only get terrible service, but also one of us got food poisoning.

First of all, the welcome host was pleasant, but then the server was rude & generally absent. We were seated then forgotten about. Seemed like he didn't want to serve us. I had to catch his attention to manage to order, he asked for our food order after giving us the most blend introduction to their menu (which lasted 2 minutes, i thought i was going to die of boredom), & we had to point out that we also wanted to order drinks. Didn't bother to ask for portion sizes (we didn't know there were many options). Didn't check in to see if everything was good with the food. Later on, didn't bother to offer digestif or dessert.

My dish was good (ragu) but my gf got food poisoning from their underwhelming seafood pasta.

Honestly very little redeeming qualities for this establishment. I'll give 2 stars out of the kindness of my heart because appetizers & 3 out of 4 mains were good. But when you pay that kind of money, you definitely expect better of everything. & certainly don't expect food poisoning!

This was my second time dining at Lucca's, & the food has been solid & consistent over the years. I always take the opportunity to order an octopus appetizer when they have one on the menu, & it was cooked perfectly once again. Both pasta dishes that were ordered for the main course were excellent as well.

I highly recommend Lucca's to anyone looking for an intimate dining room, a cozy atmosphere, & consistently good food.

I was excited about visiting this establishment while in Montreal & it exceeded my expectations. I made an error with my reservation & they seamlessly accommodated my wife & me. They paid attention to detail & the food was truly delicious. Service was outstanding too.
What a great experience. We truly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you

There is a reason why this place is so popular. We went on a Thursday night. My girlfriend who's lived in Florence fell in love with this place. Smaller resto which exudes warmth & friendly feeling. You can easily tell that they have their regulars. Shout out to Mike & Peter for making the experience exceptional. We listened to suggestions, easy dialogue. This food isn't obnoxious but just great quality ingredients. My gf started with the zucchini blossoms which were in season. Lightly breaded, wonderfully seasoned with ricotta inside. A wow. I had the calamari, Lightly breaded great seasoning so you could actually taste the calamari.
For our mains I had the lamb with pappadeli noodles & mushroom. I had to ask for extra bread to wipe the bowl clean. A huge wow!
My gf had the gnocchi with sausage. She loved it.
There was no room for dessert.
A great night & absolutely we will be back!!
