I randomly chose an Italian restaurant in Little Italy & stumbled upon Lucca. I have to say that it was beyond my expectations & according to my father who is here on vacation from Australia, it was one of the best Italian cuisine he ever tasted. We had calamari fritti, linguini di mare & grilled veal steak. Exceptional. I overheard the next table comment on the calamari: best tasting calamari ever, crunchy on the outside involving a tasty & soft calamari in the inside. We had tiramisu & pistachio ice-cream for dessert. The ice-cream was top... so creamy & rich in pistachio flavor. Truly taste like premium homemade & not commercial type of ice-cream. The service was friendly & I recommend to make a booking as it filled up in the Thursday evening. I was lucky to have a table without reservation.

We had a FANTASTIC dinner at Lucca! A friend had recommended the restaurant to me & it did not disappoint. The server was attentive & professional & courses & drinks arrived in a timely fashion. The food was sublime (particularly the gnocchi!) & the cocktails delicious. The vibe was lively & the restaurant was packed all night. Five stars without a doubt & will definitely be back!!

One of the best Italian restaurants in Montreal, perfect for relaxed night out, with excellent Italian food.
We came here for dinner & really enjoyed the meal. The bread was so fresh. We started with the Calamari, which was nice & crispy, delicious. We ordered the Seafood linguini, came with mussels, clams, scallops & a few large shrimps, in an olive oil sauce, oh so good.
The restaurant has a nice ambiance, clean & nicely decorated. The staff are very friendly & helpful.

Excellente nourriture, service pourri. Très déçue. J'adorais cet endroit, & mauvaise expérience ce soir. Serveur qui n'avait pas envi de servir. Payer ce prix pour ce service, pas acceptable. On nous a pas offert de dessert, on nous a dit qu'on nous amenait un digestif, on l'a jamais eu. On fêtait la fête de ma mère & ça l'a été très décevant!!!

You can't go wrong with Lucca. We had 2 seats at the bar'counter'. Anthony was a gracious host with his team of 4 that moved in perfect synchronicity. It was amazing to watch his team in action. The food, atmosphere & overall experience was something you should not miss. We are first timers to Montreal & this was an excellent intro to the local food scene. Well done!

Absolutely lovely. We've been visiting Montreal from Oregon for a couple of weeks & this was by far our favorite meal. Order the specials! Delicious, delightful, & a perfect last meal in Montreal.
