The service, food & atmosphere were perfect. Anthony picked the perfect wine to accompany our excellent dishes. I strongly recommend the espresso martini as a cocktail. The appetizers, fig filled with cheese & wrapped in prosciutto, was amazing ss was the Burretta & pomodoro tomato. The gnocchi was the best I've ever had. Ask around & you'll hear that this is THE best restaurant in Little Italy. The setting was wonderful, the ambiance was lovely (chic, even), & the maitre d' was exceptional--presenting a dramatic reading of the menu. But the food was disappointing. It was standard (not exceptional), & only one dish (the fried calamari) came out sufficiently hot or sufficiently seasoned. You'll be out of place without a bottle of Acqua Panna on your table, so go for a big night out & expect a hefty tab.View more
