"Ask around and you'll hear that this is THE best restaurant in Little Italy. The setting was wonderful, the ambiance was lovely (chic, even), and the maitre d' was exceptional--presenting a dramatic reading of the menu. But the food was disappointing. It was standard (not exceptional), and only one dish (the fried calamari) came out sufficiently hot..."
