My dish arrived 25 min earlier than my friend, & we had to eat separated. I had the mushroom risotto & the taste was pure black pepper & no salt at all. I don't recommend.View more
😘😘 health, veg/vegan food spot. The mushroom toast was delish. Fries were yummy too. Smoothie was good! Large portion sizes
Pretty empty / easy to get table sat @11amView more
For starters, this has to be one of the best Vegan/Vegetarian restaurants in Montréal. Great service & amazing food, I highly recommend the mushroom crostini & tofu benedict.View more
We had the risotto & the raviolis, & had the mushroom toast appetizer. The food was all good, especially the appetizer. Although we thought the mains were a bit bland in terms of flavor. The drinks were really good! As for the atmosphere & the service, it was all 5stars.View more
The place is very cute & the staff is very polite & attentive. For starters we had the onion soup & the faux salmon tartare & both were really good, especially the salmon tartare was AMAZING! The fish tacos were also really good but they looked a bit sad & the fries were just average. The mushrooms risotto was also very good! Overall we had a great dinner & would definitely come again to try more ☺️View more
This place is a vegan gem! The menu is creative & diverse, with something for everyone-even non-vegans would love it. I tried caramari fries, buffalo cauliflower wings & the mushroom risotto & were absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm & inviting, & the staff are knowledgeable & welcoming. Whether you're vegan or just curious, this is a must-visit spot. I can't wait to come back & try more dishesView more
I wanna give more than 5 stars to this phenomenal hip-chic vegan restaurant because I feel it deserves more than just a 4.4 average. Everything about this restaurant was absolutely fantastic-from the aesthetics to the service to the food. If you come for lunch, you basically get an appetizer for free! (1100-1430) I came here for the mushroom risotto & it did not disappoint. How can this be vegan? That's what I kept asking myself. Find out for yourself & come on over!View more
Great vegetarian/vegan restaurant in downtown Montreal. Several of their dishes have both vegan & vegetarian versions. The space is very cute & the noise level isn't bad for a romantic dinner. My wife got the vegetarian truffle mushroom risotto which was excellent. I had the coconut curry with butternut squash on rice with cashews & cilantro which I enjoyed immensely. The brownie dessert could have been better hence the one star reduction. It was over cooked & hard in spots. But overall I'll definitely return next time I'm the city.View more
The food at LOV mcgill is sooo good. One of the best vegetarian cheese burger & truffle mushrooms risotto.View more
Had the oyster mushroom risotto - just WOW!!! delish appetizers & the key lime coconut cheesecake was INCREDIBLE. nice staff & lovely ambiance. can't wait to go back.View more
This place is beautiful! So many little charming details. It's a vegan restaurant. We tried many of the items on the menu: the Brussels sprouts were great, the dumplings were also delicious. The s'nails (stuffed mushrooms) were good & a different offering. The burgers were good but they use the impossible patty, we were hoping for more of a house patty. We tried both the cheeseburger & the truffle burger, good overall. The'fish' tacos were also good, breaded tofu was the'fish'. Great spot for IG photos. But a bit pricey.View more
One of the best vegan restaurants I have ever been to, my non vegan boyfriend agrees. While visiting Montreal on vacation, Lov was referred to us by many locals for my birthday dinner .We made a reservation & as soon as we walked in,we knew that it was the right choice. It was bright with beautiful Decor. We were seated immediately even though we were early for our reservation. Both the food & drinks were absolutely amazing. We decided to share plates so we could try more of the menu. I highly recommend doing this! We started off with drinks, a matcha sour martini & a pink everything which we both enjoyed. First we split the soup of the day which was lentil. It was the perfect start. The 2 appetizers we chose were the snails & the calamari which were nothing like we had ever had. FYi,the leftover butter from the snails makes a great dipping sauce for the calamari . For the main course we got the Mushroom risotto & the Lasagna which were delicious .They both exactly what I remembered them as since going vegan ,only better. Lastly,we had to try all 3 desserts which were keylime cheesecake, creme brule & a brownie with Macha ice cream & Berry Couli. both of us agreed that our favorite was the creme brule. The best part of our dinner by far was our waiter Felix. He gave great recommendations & was very attentive. He allowed us plenty of time to try everything that we ordered & never felt rushed but was always there when we needed him with a smile.Hopefully when you visit you will have him taking care of you . He made my whole birthday dinner a night I will never forget. Thanks Felix! Wish we could've made it back on thursday for the chicken & waffles!View more
A great, unique vegetarian/vegan restaurant with a diverse menu to appeal to plenty of tastes. The mushroom risotto is amazing & there are great, hearty salad options. We also really enjoyed our mocktails. The service was relatively quick & very friendly. Prices are reasonable for the quantity & quality of dishes.View more
Stopped in for brunch on Sunday, would definitely return. Couple smoothies, chick'n & waffle, & the mushroom asparagus toast. Everything was delicious, staff were very kind.View more
Great vibes, great drinks & dessert, horribly salted & peppered mains. Came with two others before the eclipse so we expected an unusually long wait & weren't bothered by it. Waitstaff was overwhelmed & forgetful, but apologetic & extremely friendly. The cocktails were AMAZING & the appetizers were great, but we were all disappointed with the entrees. I had the mushroom risotto that was both so salty & so peppery that you couldn't taste any of the mushrooms. My partner had a pasta dish that was likewise too salty to enjoy. Our friend had the quinoa bowl which was OK at best; the desserts were much better across the board. I'd give this place another chance, even for how pricey it was.View more
We ate here last night. We had the mushroom risotto & the Mujadara bowl as our main entrees. As appetizers, we had fries & the simulated plant based snails. We finished with the crème brûlée & the chocolate brownie. The food was good, the service was mindful & the atmosphere was great. I am rating them a four, not a five, because they have a very limited menu. It is always nice to have more options.View more
The food was great, we came for dinner in the evening, we made a reservation. This was our first time trying orange wine & it didn't disappoint, it was flavourful & not too dry. For starters we had the dumplings, they were nice & cooked to have a good crunch when biting into them & the kimchi fries, the sesame dressing was amazing, we had to ask for more dressing as there wasn't enough on the fries. For mains we had the creamy gnocchi pesto & the mushroom risotto, both tasted amazing. Both were flavourful & it doesn't make you miss meat at all. Overall a good experience & would recommend others to try the restaurant.View more
Boho brunch vibes in a classy, instagram worthy restaurant at LOV. LOV has been on my list for many years & I finally got a chance to go! It definitely lived up to its hype, the quality of the vegan food is amazing. Everything tasted super fresh & delicious. We ordered the chick n waffle (fried oyster mushroom) which was so good you aren't going to miss chicken (we aren't vegan ! ). The tofu Benedict was a favourite for the family, it surprised us & was delicious. The granola bowl is a great option should you not be in the mood for a heavy savoury breakfast either. The golden milk is a warm, cozy, & immune boosting drink that'll be great on a cold winter & fall morning! The mango tango is a good smoothie , that's not too sweet. Thank you for the kind lady for serving my family & I. Although the kitchen had some issues with getting our order, our server made it up to us kindly. Thank you! I recommend reservations via OpenTable.View more
Great restaurant, excellent menus, vegan. I would've liked to see more zest in food, risotto mushroom & coconut curry & of course their dumplings. The only thing needs improvement is making the entrance accessible.View more
Heard about this place from the show ‘worth it’ & absolutely loved the food. We ordered the salted ricotta & dumplings to start & the mushroom burger with kimchi fries. The service was quick & efficient but do ensure you make a reservation as they were super packed.View more
Great food & ambience, the Mujaddara & California bowls tasted amazing. Mushroom burger had good flavours & crunch, could get more dill sauce.View more
