Really loved Louné! Such a cute little café in the Plateau. I'm pretty picky about my coffee & theirs was honestly really good.
We tried the Polotun Bowl & loved it, especially the kookoo sabzi. It was fresh, herby & so flavourful, & honestly one of the best parts of the bowl.
The cakes & pastries were amazing too. Everything tasted fresh & homemade, especially the Persian Love Cake.
Great coffee, really good Persian-inspired food & amazing pastries. Definitely my new favourite cafés in Montreal!
Such a lovely café in the Plateau! Louné has one of the most interesting signature drink menus I've found in Montreal. The pistachio latte was probably my favorite thing I tried; creamy, nutty & really different from the usual flavored lattes. The saffron matcha was also beautiful & such a unique combination.
We tried both the mushro truffle mushroom omelette & the feta & dill omelette, & honestly loved both. Everything tasted fresh & homemade.
What really makes Louné special though is how warm & personal the service feels. It's a small family-run café & you genuinely feel welcomed when you walk in. & there's usually an adorable little puppy hanging around, which obviously makes the whole experience about 100% better. :)
Definitely a little neighborhood gem in Plateau-Mont-Royal. We'll be back!
One of those hidden gems you're happy to find in the Plateau. Louné is a small, charming Persian inspired café with amazing coffee & genuinely homemade food. I had the feta omelette & the orange blossom muffin, & both were fresh & full of flavor. The atmosphere is relaxed & welcoming, & you can tell a lot of care goes into the food & the space. Such a lovely neighborhood café in Montreal. Highly recommend!
