Nous sommes venus de Terrebonne pour passer une belle soirée & regarder la game du Canadien au Lord William Pub. Nous sommes arrivés vers 16h45-17h & sommes repartis vers 23h15.
La nourriture était bonne, mais honnêtement, le service au départ a été vraiment décevant. À notre arrivée, aucune chaleur, aucun sourire, même pas un bonjour de la serveuse. Nous avons dû attendre environ 10 à 15 minutes avant de devoir demander nous-mêmes si nous pouvions commander un premier drink. Une fois terminé, même chose : il a fallu redemander un autre verre, sans jamais qu'on nous demande si on voulait autre chose.
Ensuite, personne ne nous a demandé si nous voulions manger. Il a fallu demander un menu, & on nous a même dirigés de façon bizarre vers les menus de la place d'à côté. Pour des clients assis directement au bar, j'ai trouvé le manque d'attention assez incompréhensible.
Heureusement, une dénommée Kate est arrivée derrière le bar & le service s'est nettement amélioré. Elle nous a enfin donné un minimum d'attention & a fait ce qu'on s'attend normalement d'une bonne serveuse. Une chance qu'elle était là, sinon l'expérience aurait été encore plus désagréable.
Je comprends très bien qu'un soir de match de hockey soit occupé, surtout plus tard dans la soirée. Mais au début, alors que c'était encore gérable, le service n'était tout simplement pas au niveau.
Au final, avec une facture totale de 315 $ incluant le pourboire, je repars avec un goût amer. Dommage, parce que la nourriture était bonne, mais je ne crois pas revenir.
The food was good & the server was nice enough to make sure everything was gluten free. The service lacked a bit though, could not get a second drink. Overall a pleasant experience.

We had about 40 minutes before an important meeting to get into the pub, drink, eat, & leave. It was my first time here & I was a bit worried, but within two minutes the drinks were out, within 10 the (most excellent!) food was out, & by 35 minutes from the moment we set foot in the door we were ready to go. Service was *impeccable* all along. Amazing! & we got to munch to the sound of some great late 90s/early 00s tunes. Very pleasantly surprised by this first visit, will very likely be back!
A really gorgeous restaurant especially where we were seated outdoors ❤? The staff is super hospitable & always on their feet with the best service 😊 We had onion rings for appetizers & then moved onto Fish & Chips along with Brie Burger & each bite was super delicious ❤? We loved the food & look forward to coming for brunch & dinner next time in this 11/10 venue 🥰 UPDATE: Went for mocktails, drinks, nachos, poutine, & popcorn shrimp & really appreciated the food with great service 😍 MORE UPDATES: Went for brunch & had the Walk in the Beach mocktail, Avocado & Hallouni toast, Lord William's breakfast & loved each bite along with fantastic service ☺? I recently visited Lord William pub, & I have to say, it was a delightful experience. The pub has a warm, relaxed vibe, perfect for unwinding. The menu offers delicious options, from juicy burgers to creative twists on pub classics. The cocktails are unique & well-made. Service was friendly & efficient. Overall, a fantastic spot for good food, drinks, & a chill atmosphere. Highly recommend!

hosted a paint nite event here in the basement. went early & had some drinks & snacks. nachos were delicious. sangria was amazing. all the staff were very accommodating & helpful. the basement area had a great vibe for big group events. highly recommend
Dave, the barman, was beyond attentive & super friendly. Their clasic bacon cheese burger was delicious. Sat there just to have a drink & watch some hockey, & I left with a full belly & having met some wonderful people.
the food was good but the drinks were kinda pricy, 15 dollars for a cocktail is standard. if youre looking for a good time its worth it but if youre looking for a cheap drink maybe not
Really good local pub with really good food. We have been numerous times & always enjoyed it. They even have a great kids menu for $12. We have eaten the lamb burger which is excellent & the salmon tartare. They also have a great outdoor terrace. Each time we wnet they had drink specials.
