Unfortunately, this was one of the most unpleasant restaurant experiences I have had.
This review may not be popular, but I believe customers deserve to enjoy breakfast in a clean, comfortable, & hygienic environment.
Shortly after we started eating, a strong foul odor spread throughout the dining room. The smell was so unpleasant that a staff member came out & sprayed air freshener around the restaurant. Even after that, the odor remained overwhelming & made us lose our appetite.
When I asked what had happened, the only response I received was,'I'm sorry.' At that point, we decided to pay our bill & leave because we no longer felt comfortable eating.
The restaurant was also extremely hot. There did not appear to be adequate air conditioning, & the dining room was uncomfortable, especially on a summer day.
The restrooms were not well maintained during our visit. They had an unpleasant odor, & there was no soap available for washing hands.
As for the food, we were disappointed. The French fries tasted as though they had been cooked in oil that needed to be changed, & the fruit served with breakfast did not seem fresh. The coffee was good, & the water we were served was fine.
I understand that busy days can be challenging for any restaurant, but cleanliness, comfort, & food quality are essential. Based on our experience, the restaurant did not meet the standards we expected, & we left feeling disappointed & unable to enjoy our breakfast.
As we got in we were seated in a bit of an awkward position near the area where food comes in & out. We felt like an obstacle. It wasn't a huge issue, though. I ordered the El Classico poutine, & it tasted good, but there wasn't a lot of hollandaise sauce. Some of the fries were left dry as well as the cheese curds but even though that was the case, I still enjoyed it. I just happen to be a fan of sauce. Regardless, the food was nice, but it wasn't amazing. The decor isn't bad for a breakfast restaurant, but again, it isn't special.
What I will say though is that I was not a fan of the likely AI-generated beaver (I think?) on the menus.
Overall I'd rate this place a solid 3/5. Not bad, not great, but just OK.
Staff is friendly, food is always good, I've not been disappointed with any dishes I've tried so far. One of our favorite breakfast spots in our area.
The line is always a little long though, & calling to put your name on the waitlist seems to be something they only do to appease callers (we've done so twice & got to the door where no one was taking names & there was no list)
Update: men's restroom needs attention, floors are sticky, there was a dangling electrical wire from the ceiling & the urinal doesn't flush. Meanwhile, the ad panel in there has never once been off of seemed to malfunction.

If you want to order L'Oeufrier on UberEats, think again. This is how our breakfast arrived. Eggs smothered in Nutella. You would think that maybe their packaging would have separators? Or a different type of box for the pancakes so that Nutella doesn't get everywhere? It doesn't take a genius to realize your packaging option is not suited for the food you're delivering. & although we paid 5$ extra for priority delivery, everything in this box was ice cold & disgusting.
Tea & coffee are extra.
It's a small breakfast restaurant, & long line out the door. Always arrive early to get a table. There's more parking available at the back.
The staff are friendly but the service is a bit slow. Took 20 to get our drinks, which is coffee & tea. But they forgot the cups for the tea.
We came a few years back, wasn't our favourite. But the other breakfast places in the area were very busy today so we stopped here as there were plenty of tables. Waitress was very kind however service was slow & a hour in waiting for our food I finally asked why there was such a long wait. Was told the kitchen was short staffed & they were working on the large party at another table. Would have been nice to have been notified. Our table & a family of 4 next to us had to wait about an hour before receiving our food. All in all we remembered why we don't frequent this place.
Great breakfast spot! We were seated right away with no wait, & the staff was super friendly. There's also plenty of parking, which is a big plus.
A couple of things to note: it got a bit busy, & we waited over 15 minutes before our order was taken (we were just two adults & a child). It might help if the busgirls could also help serve coffee when things get hectic - a few customers were left waiting for a coffee refill.
Overall though, the service was very good, & our waitress was especially kind & welcoming. I think they might have just been a little understaffed that day. Still, we enjoyed our meal & would come back!
Just had breakfast for Mothers Day with my wife. I highly recommend this beautiful little breakfast spot. The food was outstanding & service is spot on. The waitress came to see us multiple times to make sure all was good & ask if we needed anything. The atmosphere is very friendly & family friendly too. Prices are very reasonable able. Great place, great food, great people.
