I went on a Monday evening. It was beautiful day so both the inside & patio were packed. It took a little time for us to be seated, but no worries it was busy & understandable. We ordered drinks which were good, & it didn't take too long despite how busy it was but we had to re order one because it was forgotten. I also ordered 12 wings for the table. Unfortunately, it never arrived. It was taking a little while so I tried my luck & asked, it was never sent to the kitchen. I was offered the option of the kitchen doing it as soon as possible but it would have taken an extra 15 minutes on top of the 30 minutes minimum we waited already & I did not have time to wait anymore. We also wanted to order the parmesan fries, but no fries. I was really looking forward to trying the food here, but I will not be returning due to my disappointing experience.Voir plus

I'm so glad I happened to be in that area & that a fortunate coincidence led me to discover this exceptional restaurant. The warm & professional attitude of the young waitstaff, the amazing atmosphere, & even the clientele - all added to the charm of this place. The martini & Old Fashioned were better than most bars, & the smoked meat sandwich was the best I've ever had (even compared to Schwartz's Deli). The salad on the side, along with its expertly made dressing, was outstanding. The brie cheese with honey & walnuts was simply indescribable. The prices are more than fair considering the quality, & the management truly deserves recognition. Our server, Samuelle, was incredibly attentive, precise, & polite. Local 75 is & will forever be my favourite spot on Monkland (& this comes from someone who has worked on the street).
The service from Candace is always above & beyond & the only thing better (if even) than her personality is the fried chicken. Every time I go I like to try different items on the menu & I have yet to find something I dislike.
