I went on a Monday evening. It was beautiful day so both the inside & patio were packed. It took a little time for us to be seated, but no worries it was busy & understandable. We ordered drinks which were good, & it didn't take too long despite how busy it was but we had to re order one because it was forgotten. I also ordered 12 wings for the table. Unfortunately, it never arrived. It was taking a little while so I tried my luck & asked, it was never sent to the kitchen. I was offered the option of the kitchen doing it as soon as possible but it would have taken an extra 15 minutes on top of the 30 minutes minimum we waited already & I did not have time to wait anymore. We also wanted to order the parmesan fries, but no fries. I was really looking forward to trying the food here, but I will not be returning due to my disappointing experience.View more

Ive been several times, always the same consistent good service & food. Good selection of beers & cocktails, waitress is always good & on top of her game. I had the smoked meat sandwich which was excellent, ive also had the chicken burger & smoked meat poutine in the past which are also very good (for the chicken burger, put their homemade hot sauce on it, very good with fries also). Only minor negative would be the small dining area & the seating isnt the most comfortable.View more

My friend & I had lunch recently in Monkland Village in NDG. We were both in the mood for a burger, so we stopped at Local 75 Bistro Club for lunch. We found their menu to be extensive with lots of variety, from salads to sandwiches to choose from. We stuck to the burger section – I ordered the Big Local & my friend the Yellowstone, both of which were served with fries. They were both delicious – I don’t think I’ve had a better-tasting burger elsewhere. Our server was excellent, she was very polite, attentive & addressed us in English, which to us was a major plus. We will definitely be back – this is definitely a restaurant not to be missed!View more

Food was mediocre, had the yellow stone burger that for 26$ came with the smallest side of fries I have ever seen in my life, barely even seasoned, a burger that had barely any sauce or veggies. I could make better at my own place with what I can buy at provigo. Not intended on coming back to waste more money. I tipped the waitress but you can better with your food as a restaurant. Litterally felt like getting ripped off. Your street competition offers much better food for way less. 6/10 & that's cause I am being nice & like to support local.View more

Nice & cozy interior with extra seating outside when the weather turns warm. The burger was solid, the fries not home made but tasty. The war Thrivent & quick, my major gripe was the cocktail that didn't taste boozy at all. Surprising seeing was it was made with tequila.View more

Lovely bar bistro on Monkland ! Atmosphere is really nice with a kind waitress & professional bartender. Ordered some sweet potato fries & their beet & goat cheese starter. Both were absolutely delicious !View more
via LibroI always love our time at Local.. & it's been 16-17 months since our last time.. & we were greeted by our lovely waitress who always takes excellent care of us!! & the food was just perfect.. my Reubin was perfection, my sweet potato fries (best in the city for sure!) & my husband had the big local.. I can tell you we were very very happy- & you will be too! Go! It's great :)
