Mauvaise expérience, un jolie restaurant avec une carte intéressante pour le brunch mais plusieurs erreurs dans la commande des deux plats, mauvaise cuisson des patate rôtis. Nous avons juste eu le sentiment de déranger pendant le service du brunch alors que le restaurant était vide... Dommage.
Magnifique décor. Service attentionné. Nourriture délicieuse. Nous y retournerons.
J'ai passé un très bon moment au restaurant Loam. Très bon service, très beau décor.La nourriture était exquise, ambiance chaleureuse. J'ai adoré leur choix de musique. Je recommande ce restaurant & j'y retournerai dans un avenir proche.

Great atmosphere with the music, excellent dishes (in particular the burrata, the sauce demi-glace, the homemade pasta & the desserts) & friendly service. We loved it! It's worth the price :)

Overall, we enjoyed our first experience at Loam. Well situated for walking around the old port before & or after dinner. The vibe is welcoming & hip without being overly trendy. We both ordered cocktails to start. My BF really enjoyed his classic old fashioned & my tequila smash was refreshing & summery. We both ordered starters. The lobster ravioli was beautifully presented, It looked perfect, & while the pasta was cooked beautifully, it & the delicate flavour of the lobster filling was lost as we found the sauce to be overpoweringly lemony. Shame. I ordered the grilled octopus. Again, points for presentation. Lovely combination of flavours & textures, garnished with pomegranate seeds & roasted hazelnuts... unfortunately, the octopus was over seasoned & slightly over cooked. There was redemption in both of our mains however. He had the beef tartare which was exquisite in its simplicity, fresh & perfectly seasoned. I ordered the scallops which were seared & seasoned perfectly & elevated by their accompaniments on the plate. For dessert we shared a crème brûlée... which was lovely & velvety, but struck us to be more of a lemon pudding than a crème brûlée. The topping was slightly underdone & wasn't warm as is the classic version is normally served. Our server was young, & seemingly inexperienced. We felt a little neglected overall ik terms of service. All in all a solid 7/10.
Food was not tasty at all. Music was way too loud. Our server was nice.
The food was disappointing overall. We ordered 2.9kg of tomahawk steak medium-rare (the only 2 pieces that were left). They came out medium-well done & the sauce was also any regular sauce, nothing special. We didn't send them back to the kitchen as we knew it would be a waste for them profit-wise. We only got 15% of discount on the steak price. The manager did offer us 3 free desserts, & we took one of each kind they had. Unfortunately, the desserts were not up to standard.
The service was okay. The manager was kind & the waiter Paul was nice as well. But we found there was a lack of experience. We were a table of 6 people & spent about 700$. The server did not come & refill our water cups, nor did he refill our wine glasses.
The vibe & terrasse was nice & we enjoyed our time, but we agreed that we wouldn't go back for the food again.
Service attentionné & un repas délicieux. Le dessert aux fraises & la rhubarbe d'une fraîcheur sublime!

Un peu paradoxal comme lieu : cuisine haut de gamme, très bonne, mais servie sur fond de musique lounge trop forte qui rend la conversation intime difficile.
Highly recommend the steak & the beef tare tare, wonderful service & warm host

Serveuse unilingue anglais pas admissible à Montréal.apprendre quelques mots de français n est pas difficile.
