Was happily greeted by two very happy employees. The jerk meal on point. The patties were good. I need a jerk chicken fix minimum once a month as my hubby can't handle anything with spices or a bit spicy. I always get the hot pepper sauce on the side to greedily dip my chicken into it. Satisfies every craving ❤?
Authentic dishes of the Islands, Oxtail is to die for, the Jerk chicken is on point. Corn bread super moist & has good bounce to it when you bite it - even a plantain poutine was a pleasant surprise. Come back a few times to try everything in the menu, I promise it won't dissapoint.View more

Très belle ambiance, mais les oxtails laisse à désirer... j'ai pas trop aimer la sauce sur les oxtails. Mais la viandes est tendre & bien cuiteView more

Had a chance to try Lloydies as it was recommended by a friend. Got myself a patty, jerk meal & a side of fried chicken with the peppa sauce & coconut coleslaw. Patty was a bit dry, but still not bad. The fried chicken was a bit bland, I would probably pass on it. The jerk chicken was flavourful & moist, probably best part of the meal! Rice & peas was decent too. Coconut coleslaw was okay, I prefer creamy coleslaw & the peppa sauce was pretty good. Overall, I was comparing the Montreal jerk chicken to Toronto jerk chicken, & I have to say, Toronto wins, but Montreal is still good! Would recommend the jerk chicken for sure!View more

Good portions, the coleslaw was very good & refreshing & the ox tail had the perfect fatty & meaty ratio. The rice & the sauce were good but i was waiting for a punch of flavours...there was a missing fragrance or herbs in the recipe.View more

Décevant ! La qualité des plats a bien baissé (pork jerk & poulet jerk). Beaucoup de gras dans les cubes de porc (la moitié de la quantité laissée de côté car trop grasse). & sauce devenue beaucoup trop piquante. Le riz n'est plus le même qu'avant il a beaucoup moins de saveur & on sent qu'il a moins été travaillé & assaisonné. Déçue de plus en plus de cet endroit !!View more

I got the oxtail plate, the oxtail was so tender & the sauce had so much flavour. I definitely will be back. The portions are big & I ordered extra plantains for $5 & it was a lot!View more
