Really loved the food, the right amount of spices & they are really generous in their portions. The plantains were delicious & the cashier was really welcoming. A definitely go to, truly worth it.

A great place to get some really nice jerk porc or chicken! I took the plate & the rice was beautifully cooked. The pork & chicken were juicy but had a nice bark on them. Flavors were amazing. I would highly recommend trying their ginger beer & coleslaw with your plates. Might become my favorite spot to go in mileend..
À defaut d'avoir pu aller manger au resto prévu, nous sommes allés au Lloydie's & Ohhhh! Quel bon repas. Les viandes sont cuites à la perfection, du bon jerk. Le service est impeccable, rapide & les prix sont abordables! Pour une envie de bouffe caraibéenne, je recommande à 100%!
Lloydie's never misses! The food is packed with flavour, the portions are generous, & the service is always warm & welcoming. Whether it's the jerk chicken, oxtail, or patties, everything tastes authentic & freshly made. One of my go-to spots for Caribbean comfort food - highly recommend!
I was craving some patties saturday as an early meal & the cashier made me feel welcome from the first time I came in, she was polite & respectful. Shout out to y'all for the best patties in town!
i came here friday night for the first time & i had an oxtail plate & it was very delicious. The girl at cash had a very good service! will be coming here again!
discovered this restaurent & went to get a plate of oxtail coming all the way from england & the cashier on friday evening was so nice sweet & she gave great service! would def recommend this place
J'avais eu de bons échos de ce restaurant. Malheureusement, j'ai été fort déçu. La personne qui gérait la caisse était désagréable, elle ne doit pas connaître les formules de politesse.
Au sujet de la nourriture, j'ai pris un'Poulet Jerk', le tout était très sec, ça manquait de fraîcheur. Le poulet était quant à lui goûtu mais il n'y a pas presque rien à manger sur ces morceaux.. très dommage..

This review is a bit slanted as I only popped in for a small snack rather than a meal. I'm a mac & cheese lover & the caribbean'macaroni pie' take has always been a beloved dish for me from my years in Toronto. Most carribean restaurants don't offer this dish as it is time consuming to make, & with the few carribean restaurants there are in Montreal this is an especially hard find, although they don't explicitly call it'macaroni pie'. The item was ready suspiciously fast within seconds, so I knew it was just sitting under low heat. After a couple bites, it was evident it had been on standby for longer than it should have been. I wasn't even sure it it was made the same day, it tasted old. The texture was not good. Mushy, but without any creaminess. This would likely be a higher review if I tried one of their plates instead, which I will likely do at the other location just to check both of them out. The service was fine, no complaints there. The place isn't to large so seating is limited.
I wish I could have a picture of the food but I absolutely devoured it. Chicken falling off the bone, perfect rice amount… This is going to be a new staple place for me! Thank you for the good food.
