We arrived early & had our choice of tables. The hostess/server was very sweet. We ordered drinks & dinner. 45 minutes later, after we noticed others being served who came in after us, the server came back with a menu & said the kitchen lost our order. We confirmed our choices & waited another 30 minutes! We were not asked if we wanted an appetizer or even another drink. The food was very good & the server was apologetic. They did charge us for our drinks. We understand that things happen but we felt completely ignored.

In short, Monday diner time, the place was overbooked & understaffed. Kitchen wasn't delivering plates fast enough for those who wanted to eat there. Took us two hours (no kidding, 120 minutes+) for the chicken wings appetizer to arrive; & then another 45 mins + after that for the main courses. No one at our table were impressed by the food; burger bun uncook, poutine was like a Costco's poutine (but 10$ more expensive), water refilling never occur, dirty glasses for soda were given & a mistake were made for our orders. The only interesting dish we met was the Poke Nachos which was different but not that elaborate. On the other hand, the place is awesome, setup & terrasse is on top, live band was excellent. In our not-a-great-day experience, those who only drinked that night would probably have a much more positive review than mine I'm pretty sure. With that said, if you are looking for a terrasse to have a drink & listen to a live band, stop searching it's there you have to go. No doubt. If you plan to eat, well, many alternatives exists around in that price category & I'd recommand to be sensitive if the place is crowded, very crowded or just too loaded or not. Nothing's impossible to rescape & level up I'm sure but from our experience, it's not in our plan to go back anytime soon. The place overall felt serious solid & I'm sure that they will fix & adjusts their strings to increase the experience.
Update June 2024 : the Poke Nacho are so creative. Great tuna with fried wong tong & loads f good stuff. It is our go to place in Magog. For good food, drinks & atmosphere, don't forget the great staff too. June 2022 :Good place are always busy. Saturday night when there is a foodie event the place was packed. Great food, great service, very warm & welcoming. Kitchen couldn't keep up we waited but it was announced at ordering time, proactive & honnest.
This place is beautiful there's so much to look at they have a dance floor inside & outside you don't have to go in to get a drink there's a bar also outside the View is spectacular you get to see the lake & the passing boats right in front of you the staff are wonderful the food is out of this world I wanted to try everything on the menu but don't worry I'll be back every Saturday so I can experience all those flavors I think I might even marry the chef haha I recommend everyone to experience the nightlife as well as the daytime Its best restaurant in Magog by far I had a lot of fun, I give this restaurant 100% delicious
Nous avons été très déçu par tout. Employés in intéressés par nous, drink trop cher & peu gouteux, nourriture froide & ils n'ont toujours pas utilisé le service d'un exterminateur pour contrôler les guêpes à l'extérieur. Nous n'y retournerons plus.
Maggog is such a fun little town filled with interesting shops & resurants. We were excited to try this resturant with outdoor seating on the water. With all the options I would HIGHLY encourage you to choose ANY other resturant other than this one to dine with your family. I wish zero stars was an option. The wait staff treats their paying customers as they are a nusance & a bother.
We are a party of 7. We pulled our own tables together to accommodate our party. They were out of many food & drink options we asked for. One person asked for a hamburger with no cheese & only tomato & lettuce on the burger to be told they do not make any changes to their menu. I am traveling with a person wth food allergies & this is just plain rude. What is it to leave a piece of cheese, pickel & onion off a plate?
The thing that makes this even worse is the tables around us are met with the same unpleasant attitude. People are walking out.
For the prices & attitude of employees this is NOT the best dining option, if it's even an option at all. Save your happiness & money & try the Indian, the Lebanese, the ice cream shop anything else but this.
