Inspired by the biergardens and the tropical tendencies, the Microbrewers Islanders settle in Laval with the deep desire to develop local brewing traditions and to offer a warm place of life!
Les Insulaires Microbrasseurs comes across in reviews as a warm, cozy spot with stylish decor and a welcoming vibe, boasting a broad on tap beer program with many house brews and a solid cocktail selection that pairs well with a bistro style menu. The service is repeatedly praised for being friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is described as vibrant yet comfortable, suitable for dates, friends or family outings, with a terrace and occasional themed evenings that add energy without losing intimacy. Food receives mixed notes: dependable crowd pleasers like Peruvian fried chicken, shrimp and beef tacos, and grilled octopus are highlighted for flavor and generous portions, while a few dishes such as nachos or certain salads are criticized for price, balance or execution. Occasional comments mention busy crowds, noise, a cool interior temperature, and parking challenges. Overall, the reviews present a popular Laval destination for beer lovers that delivers great beer, solid food and a memorable, convivial experience, inspiring plans to return.
Had been here a few times before but not since it had reopened. The decor is still as fabulous as before. The place is warm & cozy & makes you feel at home. The cocktails are really good & they have a great selection on beers. Their food menu used to be a lot more interesting, felt that it was lacking in choices. Food was alright, the burger seemed to be missing flavors.
This is a place worth another visit & more. They offer a large variety of beer, cocktails & wines. The beers I tried are amazing.
I love fish & chips & theirs did not disappoint. Super crunchy!
They offer a pretty decent amount of seats, & a perfect spot for a weekend supper with friends & families.

Absolutely love this beer selection is awesome, the food is good & the ambiance is great. The staff are always super friendly. Always a great time & delicious beers
Good service & good beer. However, the food was disappointing for the price. My girlfriend's $22 burger was overcooked & dry, & my Oktoberfest special Bratwurst-advertised with sauerkraut-came with coleslaw instead. The portion size also felt more like a children's meal than a main course.
Great place with descent good options on food & variety of beer options. Today they also had option for Oktoberfest beers. I think it's a pricey option considering for 2 pints of beer & food will cost you 50 plus dollars

Great experience at Les Insulaires! The waitress was very nice & welcoming, which made the visit even better. The ambiance is perfect for enjoying a beer-lots of choices on tap, & all well-crafted. The food was tasty & well-prepared, though a bit on the pricey side. The only downside is that the parking lot was hard to find & pretty tight, but once inside, the atmosphere makes up for it. Overall, an excellent spot in Laval for craft beer lovers!
Great spot to grab a drink & some pretty tasty food. Nice beer selection & good tunes all night.
The terrace is beautiful & the service was exceptional
Looking forward to coming back
Friday: a lot o people there, some of them waiting for a place... families with children's...noisy... The weighter has drop some water under the table by error. The table was instable, & the chairs were uncomfortable. Beers: tried 4, 2 of them do not even taste like beer, like some jus with a lot of water. The other 2 smelld like cabbage, oh!. We hesitate to eat when we saw that the fries were overlooked. We did go for 3 brasseurs, you cannot be wrong with that one.
Nice place, the staff was kind, polite very helpful & knowledgeble, the beer recommendations were on point & as for the food it was quite good but did lack a little pizzaz. Would definitely return & do recommend you give it a try. It should be noted that finding parking here is not obvious as the restaurant does have parking however it is always full so street parking will likely be necessary.
This microbrewery has quite some interesting & new flavours of beer to offer. The food is amazing, considering it's a brewery. People would definitely come here just as much if they were only a restaurant. Unsurprisingly, the service was also very good & the staff super friendly.
we do love to visit microbreweries near us. It has a great atmosphere that facilitates a good, laid-back time with friends, a delicious menu, &, of course, a very long list of unique & creative microbrewed beers. We had a great Sunday afternoon burger & tried A LOT of their brews. This is a fantastic place for any beer lover.
Nice surprise. Beautiful terrace. Interior design very trendy. Spacious. Service was friendly but I think they were shortstaffed. The food is biggest area of opportunity for the restaurant. The tartare was well presented but lack acidity to balance the creaminess of the mayo. The fries were double fried but really dark. My friend ordered fish & chips. Fish batter was uncooked & pasty. Fries very dark also. Coleslaw ok. Hope they improve the food quality because i would love to go back & do a beer tasting event with friends 😀
