Les Enfants Terribles est largement apprécié pour une atmosphère chaleureuse et conviviale dans un cadre chic au bord du fleuve, où la carte allie interprétation contemporaine et plats classiques généreux et servis en portions satisfaisantes. La nourriture est fréquemment décrite comme délicieuse et bien présentée, avec des plats qui tiennent leurs promesses et une qualité constante. Le service est régulièrement attentif et sympathique, même quand l'établissement est très fréquenté, et l'équipe veille à ce que chaque client se sente bien accueilli. La terrasse et la vue renforcent l'expérience, en faisant un lieu prisé pour le brunch, le déjeuner ou le dîner entre amis ou en famille, et les prix sont globalement raisonnables pour la qualité.
We went on time & booked a few days in advance & were initially given a spot near the door, then a spot near a pillar, then a spot near a window at our request. Very anxious to take away plates, took away my plate & knife & fork without consulting me & went back & forth several times asking if we were finished (there were plenty of appetisers & food on the table. Wouldn't have offered to refill the water at all if I hadn't asked. We felt seriously disturbed & kept coming over to take away plates with lots of food still on them, & the time we were there wasn't very busy, there were still plenty of places inside. This behaviour, made us very uncomfortable. with 3 adults & a 9 year old, we spent over $200 CAD for lunch & had to tip. But, very unpleasant dining experience. Can't understand it.
have been to this restaurant before at the Outremont location several times & has always been consistent , Living on the south shore we decided to take the family for supper at the L'ile de Soeurs location, first impression was nice location near the water & nice looking restaurant, we decided to order a few entrees Calamari & crab that was ok at the very best but greasy & chewy "not the end of the world", while waiting for our main course & swatting several flies our order arrived quit quickly "mind you the restaurant was empty" simply said.......................everything looked old, salad was rusty & wilted, my daughters burger was tiny & the bread was so hard she could not eat it, my wife's main course salad was a pile of old lettuce with what looked like poached chicken with grill marks to say it was grilled, fries were all differently cooked clearly fried & reheated several times & so on so on it was clear the restaurant was quiet understanding that this time of year it is definitely much more quite for restaurants however the clients that come through the door should not have to accept lessor quality. Service was ok ,not ounce did the waiter ask if everything was ok ! after this experience not sure if i would return to any of there locations.

Food was boring. Oysters small & not fresh. Menu font size reduced to very small for no apparent reason. We used to lunch there every week bot haven't been now for a long time. Not going for dinner there anymore. $500+ check wasted money..
Toujours enchantée d'y retourner & jamais déçue de l'expérience ! Définitivement un de mes restaurants favoris, même après autant d'années. Bravo d'avoir réussi à maintenir les standards aussi élevés.
I had avocado toast with poached egg, I asked for two poached egg instead of one & they did it & presentation was very nice ;however I should say that the feta cheese mixed in Avocado toast ingredients was too salty,so the taste of avocado was lost :/ , for the filter coffee they refilled it several times. the outdoor ambiance is nice in summer times but bees are around too.
Belle soirée en famille! Tout près du REM de l'île des soeurs, nous avons marché avec ma soeur en fauteuil roulant & nous avons été reçus comme des rois! Merci!
Très beau restaurant avec une très belle vue, dommage nous n'avons pas aimer le service & lorsque on les à informer que la terrasse était mal entretenue car nous avions des compagnons a 4 pattes leur excuse était « c'est l'île des soeurs madame» rapport
L'endroit est très beau, belle décoration. Les plats très bons. Par contre le service ne vaut que 3*. Serveur poli mais manque de professionnalisme. Très lent pour débarrasser. Ne nous propose pas si l'on veut un dessert. Longue attente pour accrocher son regard afin qu'il nous amène la carte & le resto était presque vide. Le tout manque un peu de convialite, mais à refaire car cela reste un moment agréable.
While serving the table next to ours, the service guy hit my head very hard with plates holding food (Probably by mistake) but it was very hard that I will always remember.
Personnel souriant, nourriture correct. Les baguels au saumon pas très généreux (en saumon & fromage à la crème)& les oeuf bénédictine un peu trop vinaigré.
La première & la dernière fois dans ce lieux plutôt connu: l'attente des plats est trop longue pendant une heure pas très chargée. Présentation moyenne. Seule qualité a noter est la terrace.
