Les Canailles is a lovely French bistro located in the new HOMA, Hochelaga-Maisonneuve area, which is developing at a fast pace. This restaurant, where you can bring your own wine has put in place a popular new concept of open kitchen on the dining room. The super friendly service and the excellent French cuisine are much appreciated by the clientele. The menu is amazingly interesting and makes it difficult to choose. There is a great choice of fresh fishes and seafood. Recently opened by the same experienced and well-known team of the restaurants: Monsieur B, O Thym, Les Héritiers and L'Emporte-Pièce, this new restaurant has easily made its place in the area. Je m'attendais à plus. Prix VS qualité nourriture & service on peut avoir mieux. J'ai reçu un tartare en entrée & ils m'ont servis ça avec deux mini croûtons dont un qui était brulé. En général c'était « bien » mais je n'y retournerai pas.

Très bon service mais c'est la bouffe qui est vraiment excellente. Crème brûlée au foie gras de canard & paella, très bon choix. Quant au prix, je trouve ça un peu cher, mais comme nous pouvons apportez notre vin, c'est plus acceptable.

Ça fait tellement plaisir de retrouver les salles de restaurants, & notre passage chez Les Canailles hier soir fut plus qu'impeccable. Excellent service, saveurs, textures & mise en place recherchées & merveilleusement bien combinées. Portions généreuses sans être exagérées. Nous avons déjà hâte d'y retourner.
