Les Canailles is a lovely French bistro located in the new HOMA, Hochelaga-Maisonneuve area, which is developing at a fast pace. This restaurant, where you can bring your own wine has put in place a popular new concept of open kitchen on the dining room. The super friendly service and the excellent French cuisine are much appreciated by the clientele. The menu is amazingly interesting and makes it difficult to choose. There is a great choice of fresh fishes and seafood. Recently opened by the same experienced and well-known team of the restaurants: Monsieur B, O Thym, Les Héritiers and L'Emporte-Pièce, this new restaurant has easily made its place in the area. Très bon service courtois. Un peu rapide sur la gâchette, mais nous n'avons pas senti de pression. Cela dit, ne prenez pas la paëlla! Trop cuite, pas assez de chorizo, huileuse & sèche en même temps, grosse déception. Les beignets de morue en entrée étaient très bien & le tartare au boeuf semblait bon. Les frites étaient parfaites.

Belle découverte.
Nous avons passé une très agréable soirée.
Les plats étaient très bons. La formule table d'hôte est idéale. (Avec le petit trou normand en plus).
Bravo à Cyril qui a bien pris soin de nous.
Nous y retournerons pour sûr.

Service parfait! Nous avions RDV & nous sommes parties à l'heure. Le personnel avait un grand souci qu'on soit dans les temps!! Nourriture excellente! C'était une première visite, nous retournons très certainement!
