Les Canailles is a lovely French bistro located in the new HOMA, Hochelaga-Maisonneuve area, which is developing at a fast pace. This restaurant, where you can bring your own wine has put in place a popular new concept of open kitchen on the dining room. The super friendly service and the excellent French cuisine are much appreciated by the clientele. The menu is amazingly interesting and makes it difficult to choose. There is a great choice of fresh fishes and seafood. Recently opened by the same experienced and well-known team of the restaurants: Monsieur B, O Thym, Les Héritiers and L'Emporte-Pièce, this new restaurant has easily made its place in the area. Pas de paella alors qu'ils font la publicité du resto avec ce menu.
Pas de café, soi disant que la machine était brisée, & paraît-il qu'ils n'avaient pas de bouilloire pour du thé non plus. Était-ce une façon de nous forcer à partir 21h alors que le resto était occupé à peut-être 20%.
J'ai mangé un tartare de saumon & été malade pendant la nuit suivante!!!

Tout était parfait! Superbe petit resto de quartier AVV, à l'atmosphère super sympathique & service hyper amical & chaleureux. Notre repas était vraiment très bon, la mousse de foie de canard aérienne & léger à souhait, dans le top 3 des tartares de saumon que j'ai mangés dans ma vie, assaisonnement & équilibre parfait accompagné de frites allumettes très craquantes. Le mi-cuit au chocolat est tout simplement à faire damner...
J'ai tout aimé & certain que je j'y retourne dans pas très longtemps!

Wow ! Notre restaurant préféré! Le service est merveilleux (incroyable même!!!) & la nourriture est à tombée par terre ! Je n'ai que de bons commentaires à faire à propos de ce restaurant . Nous y retournerons encore & encore :) J'ajouterais que l'ambiance est top, c'est hyper chaleureux comme endroit.
