Poutine moitié sauce au poivre/brune - 12$ - 7.5/10

Petit endroit charmant en Mauricie, Le Wagon propose un menu classique de casse-croûte incluant de la pizza. On a bien aimé l'endroit & le service.

La poutine est très bien exécutée. Cependant les patates blanches, bien que parfaitement cuites, ne rende pas justice au reste de la poutine. Les deux sauces sont excellentes & consistentes à souhait. La sauce au poivre n'est pas trop épicée & ramène même un petit goût sucré. Quant à la sauce brune c'est un goût très classique. Sans se démarquer cela fait bien le travail.

Petit point à améliorer au niveau du fromage, les morceaux sont parfois très gros faisant en sorte que l'intérieur reste froid. Il est cependant bien frais & en quantité généreuse.

Je ne ferais pas de voyage juste pour cette poutine mais elle serait bien appréciée en moment de craving ou si c'est sur ma route.

Au final je recommande la sauce au poivre ne serait-ce que pour le changement que ça apporte vis-à-vis une poutine classique.
