Virunga Restaurant is the story of two women passionate about African culture, who invite you to discover the gastronomic richness of this continent, which is so dear to them.
Through revisited traditional recipes, the restaurant celebrates the authentic flavors of sub-Saharan Africa, while showcasing local Quebec products.

Plats savoureux & relevés à souhait. Ingrédients de qualité, bonnes cuissons, bien exécuté dans l'ensemble. Par contre, mon plat principal était à peine plus gros que l'entrée & le dessert: comme légumes, un demi bébé bok choy, & une demie petite betterave. Deux adultes qui passent à travers la carte: mon conjoint & moi sommes restés sur notre faim, & nous avons tout mangé jusqu'au dernier grain de couscous. Je suis un peu déçue de mon expérience à cause de ça. Faites-nous découvrir la gastronomie africaine avec plus que 3 bouchées! Trop cher payé pour des petites portions.View more

Delicious food, service & presentation! We tried multiple dishes as well as both desserts, & everything tasted extremely comforting & delicious! The service is really good too, the server took her time to explain everything to us about the dishes & we also had some help pairing a perfect wine with the dishes! Highly recommended!!View more

Le Virunga est un excellent restaurant ! Nous avons été tellement surpris de voir combien de la chèvre pouvait être aussi savoureux! C'est à se demander pourquoi ce n'est pas une viande plus commune au Québec, surtout que nous avons plusieurs Chèvrerie. Les goûts sont recherchés, les plats sont bien présentés. Le service est personnalisé, attentionné, parfait. J'y retournerai & c'est une superbe découverte!View more
