It's my habit to pick up something fast to eat after my swim workout at the Dorval Aquatic Centre. I walked in expecting a typical small, budget-friendly restaurant with good food but with a slight dinghy interior. Le Vieux Dorval is nothing like that. It's a sports bar. The main dining room looks like the interior of any big franchise sports bar but with a cozier atmosphere. The TV screens were precisely the right size & quality for the room. It would be quite the experience, watching a big game there. But, I wanted quick takeout. I was directed to an entrance around the side of the building that's dedicated to their takeout counter service. I was once more pleasantly surprised. It was a bright, well-organized & modern facility. You can tell from the multiple computer terminals to the fridge placements that the place is built for efficient takeout. It took at most 15 minutes to receive my freshly made order. No pre-made single-slice pizzas are warming under lights here. During the time I waited, the one very efficient counter person took at least two phone orders. & she still managed to give me my order quickly.
Good place in Dorval for pizza. It has been around for ages & has switched owners & names a few times. There are no issues with the pizza. Since the recent renovation, the place has only gotten better, so that's it. If you're in the area, pop in.
Just loved the atmosphere, the food & the service. Our waitress (Sam) was very friendly & courteous. She ensured the food we ordered was to our satisfaction & checked in with us periodically to see if we needed anything else. The restaurant is well decorated, the staff are super friendly & the food is truly delicious making it very inviting to come again. I live in Montreal & this is my go to place with my friends & family. I highly recommend Le Vieux Dorval !
This is the consummate neighbourhood pub. Food is excellent, drink prices are reasonable, but it's the staff that really make this place what it is. Everyone who works there makes you feel welcome, whether you've been there once or a hundred times. We Dorval locals are blessed to have this gem in our backyard!
Such a sweet little place :) wonderful service the staff are all very nice. I had the 8" deluxe de la taverne pizza, it's quite filling & so tasty. Jalapeno poppers with bbq sauce were so good!
