Tandoor was our go-to Indian place but the last few orders haven't been great. Lots of spice, not much flavour or texture. That coupled with a sharp increase in prices ($60+ for 2 people) means we've decided to stop eating here. Last order was a container filled with chicken & oil. No sauce. Really disappointing.
In response to the restaurant's reply: So even with the receipt stapled to the bag, & only 1 item in my order, I was still given the wrong food?
We stopped by Le Tandoor recently, & it reminded me why this place has such a loyal following on the South Shore. it's just solid, comforting Indian food made by people who clearly care about what they're serving.
We tried Kulcha, thali & mango lassi & it was so yummy.
Prices are fair, especially considering the portion sizes. The dinner specials are a great deal if you're nearby during the time.
If you're looking for reliable, flavourful Indian food without the downtown fuss, Le Tandoor is one of the safest bets in Brossard. It's the kind of place you return to because you know the meal will be good every time.
Amazing experience at Le Tandoor! The portion sizes are very generous & the food tastes incredibly authentic, just like back home. Every dish was full of rich, balanced flavors & you can tell they use fresh ingredients. If you're looking for real Indian taste & great value, this place is a must try. Highly recommend!
Very disappointed with the dishes, spent approx 300 on take out & most of the curry's were all liquid with little substance inside compare to other indian restaurants we visit.. Almost felt like it was a business tactic to generate higher profits. I will not return. I show proof of purchase with my receipt :)
Maybe the worst indian restaurant south shore. The biryani was the worst with some orange color. Butter chicken had no flavour & all the meat were dry. Only the samousas were ok. Stay away
Not the first time we eat here, it's always been very good, authentic Indian cuisine. Very nice portions & good price. A++++
I have been coming to this establishment with my father for a very long time but had not been in a while. We went recently & were pleasantly surprised by how excellent everything now tasted. The manager of the restaurant told us it changed ownership about 2-3 years ago & it shows that the new chef (her husband) is very passionate, skilled in Indian cuisine & is putting attention to detail in preparation. We will definitely be going back & even more often now! IMO this is now possibly the best or a contender for the best Indian restaurant in the Greater Montreal Area. If you love this kind of food, go there asap! You will not be disappointed.
Exceptional food & service! The butter chicken & palak paneer were cooked to perfection, with rich & authentic flavors. The staff were friendly & attentive. Highly recommend for authentic Indian cuisine.
