I reserved a table for two to celebrate my husband's birthday. I brought a cake from outside & handed it to the waitstaff. They were incredibly kind & polite, & at the end of our dinner, they brought the cake to our table while singing the Happy Birthday song. Their warm & lovely behavior not only surprised my husband but also touched my heart.
We ordered two types of rice & one lamb curry-it was delicious, & the price was quite reasonable.
I highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic date, friendly gatherings, or family time. I will definitely be returning again & again! ❤?❤?❤?❤?❤?

I'm very surprised to see the 4.2 rating as I believe it should be higher!! This was some of the most delicious, spectacular, fresh, belly & soul warming Indian cuisine I've ever tasted. We chose Le Taj for my mum's 60th birthday celebration, coming all the way from Hamilton to spend the weekend in Montreal. Our server Sunil & all his colleagues that supported him in serving our table were phenomenal, so kind, soft spoken, warm, & told us a bit about the restaurant's long history. The ambiance is comfortable, intimate, clean, & luxurious. We ordered aloo ghobi, mattar paneer, & chicken korma as well as an appetizer, a salad, naan, & rice. Everything was fresh & perfectly tasty, medium portions, definitely generous enough. The mango lassi is second to none. The staff made my mom feel extra special with a candle & song for her dessert! Everything was great, except for their unacceptable behavior. Shortly after we finished our meal, they repeatedly asked us to leave the table. This was highly unprofessional. At the very least, they could have mentioned this policy on their website when customers make a reservation!Voir plus
This restaurant is just by name Indian not by their food & it is only for white people not for brown people , we told them to make the food spicy but still it was so sweet. Two girls sitting in front of the gate were greeting each & every white person but for us they didn't even reacted (i don't even care but it feels bad when someone from our own ethnicity treats us like second citizens) , whole restaurant was full with while people , we were the only brown people, might be brown people already knows about them , just posting it for those who doesn't know about itVoir plus
