Promise of beer at the end of the trail kept us going. As a devotee of the "follow the beer" principle for our family travels, I have been to many a brewery, microbrewery & beer pub. Reservoir is a gem. I had the milk stout & West Coast (Quest) IPA, both were fresh & excellent. The fried chicken sandwich was spot on. Place was hopping on a Thurs. afternoon. Only minor ding was no AC in dining area inside- wife could not handle, so we ate outside; probably saved me from consuming many more beers!View more
Wonderful beer & friendly staff. Not a fancy place but a solid focus on the beer.View more
My favorite place in Montreal. The beer is exceptional, the food is exceptional, the service is exceptional. & all packaged neatly into a gorgeous building with both a fantastic rooftop & curbside patio. Highly recommend.View more
Hadn't been here for many years, so I decided to pop in. Beers are fantastic; a staff member let me sample a few, & it was genuinely difficult to decide on one. The one food item I had was fantastic (haddock, I think?). Staff was very kind & just chatty enough.View more
Amazing spot for drinks & small plates with a view! Large assortment of different beers on tap along with a good selection of cocktails & wines. A lot of small dishes to accompany the drinks, & while we weren't too hungry, the cheese plate was nicely curated & the perfect compliment. Definitely a spot I'd stop by anytime I'm in Montreal & I'd love to try more of their menu! Highly recommend!View more
Beautiful terrasse with great food - small servings = & great beers!View more
Great beers & cocktails, really nice patio for the warm summer nights.View more
Perfect spot to sit outside at Duluth & appreciate life in this charming neighborhood. Beer was good, food was good (nothing too special), service good but a little bit slow. What makes this place special is the location & nice patio!View more
Love this place. I go every week & they have the most amazing food & beer. :-)View more

The vibe was exceptional, Bartender upstairs really nice & knowledgeable 10/10. Food super delicious, every bite of burrata blew me away. Spicy boneless chicken, spicy yes please. Everyone's perfectly bilingual. Crafted beers so fresh & clean. Cheers 🍻 to Reservoir crew.View more
Reasonably priced beer, good location & cool vibe. Service was a bit slowView more
Top notch food (we had the croque madam, beef sandwich, & chicken sandwich) & excellent beers in a lovely little space. I'd love to go back & try everything else on this menu!View more

Nice small beer place, I had a IPA & it was fantastic.View more
The beer & the food have changed. First, their brilliant signature cream ale is dead & gone. Very sad because for years I would go out of my way to invite everyone I knew to come & taste it. They still have a Cream ale but it is not as brilliant as the original. Not even close. The new brew-master is experimenting, & needs time to mature
The food used to have flourishes of genius, & creative presentation, but sadly no more. The old chef for example knew about coulis, & deglazing. I went through the menu this week & all is changed to ordinary food with ordinary presentation. The prices remain up there however.
The Main in Montreal is where people come for excellence, value, & consistency. Sadly the Reservoir, the jewel of Duluth, is wounded, & the new regime there are on notice. Sorry guys, I am sure you try hard, but you screwed with a great landmark. I was a regular, but it will be a while before I give you another chance if at all.
