BITE INTO WHAT LE RED TIGER IS SERVING AND TAKE A TRIP THROUGH VIETNAM, NO AIRFARE REQUIRED.
THE FOOD BY THE RESTAURANT OWNERS (ALL FROM THE 3RD GENERATION OF VIETNAM) IS SERIOUSLY TRANSPORTIVE STUFF: FROM HIGHLY STYLIZED REINVENTIONS OF STREET FOOD—LIKE A KNOCKOUT BEEF CARPACCIO WITH SHRIMP CHIPS— TO PIPING-HOT BOWLS OF TRADITIONAL PHO.
THE KITCHEN’S MENU CAPTURES THE BONA FIDE FLAVOURS AND AROMATICS OF VIETNAMESE FAVORITES WHILE ADDING WELCOME TWISTS AND TURNS OF OUR OWN INVENTION..
Le Red Tiger delivers a lively, friendly vibe with quick service and creative cocktails, and the menu showcases Vietnamese flavors like pho, papaya salad, imperial rolls, and various shareable plates that are praised for bold flavors and good textures. Reviewers note tender pho meat, delicious pork ribs, and tasty beef skewers, with the restaurant encouraging family-style dining. The atmosphere is festive and welcoming, complemented by music and a bar scene, though a few guests find the space small or a bit noisy and some dishes uneven. Value is frequently praised for good portions and reasonable prices, while a few items may feel pricey for the center city setting. Service is described as excellent and attentive overall, with staff helpful in navigating the menu and offering cocktail suggestions, though on some visits there is a brief lapse in attention or a near closing rush. Overall, Le Red Tiger is a popular go-to for friends or dates, inviting guests to explore a range of flavors and finish with inventive drinks, with many indicating they would return to try more of the menu.
Le Red Tiger's Village location is one of our favourite dinner spots, consistently delicious, laid-back, & full of great energy.
What I liked:
The menu is clearly designed for sharing, with a great selection of small plates that are perfect for ordering a variety & trying different combinations.
That said, I tend to eat fast & enthusiastically, so sharing isn't always my strong suit. We've solved that by simply ordering extra (my wife would definitely confirm this strategy).
Some of our go-to favourites include the fried spring rolls (outstanding), sticky rice, pork satay, chicken satay, pork ribs, & wings, all consistently flavourful & satisfying.
The service is always prompt & friendly. Staff seem to check in at just the right moments, attentive without ever feeling intrusive, which is a balance that's not easy to get right.
Atmosphere & vibe:
Tables are fairly close together to maximize seating, but it somehow adds to the atmosphere rather than detracting from it. The space has a relaxed, social energy that makes you feel like you're part of a shared experience rather than just sitting at your own table.
It's casual, lively, & comfortably unpretentious.
Who this is good for:
A great choice for anyone looking for flavourful food in a laid-back setting without anything overly formal. Ideal for casual dinners, small groups, or anyone who enjoys sharing plates & a lively neighbourhood feel.
Closing:
A spot we return to often, consistently good food, drinks, & a great atmosphere.
Stick to this menu & you'll have a 5/5:
Papaya salad, imperial veggie rolls, stuffed wontons, pork ribs (amazing), coconut chicken skewer, beef skewers + a cocktail (Asian mule is bomb & spicy).

Overall, we had a good ok experience. Shame they didn't have AC, it was super hot inside the restaurant. We had 3 small plates to share & had drinks : papaya salad was just ok, the satay chicken skewers weren't seasoned enough (we found it bland), the 5 spices short ribs were good & tender. Overall, good place for a date & for a light meal, but not for sit down long dinners.
was craving Vietnamese cuisine & found this restaurant on google. it was sooo good. my friend & i shared the chicken skewers which were really tasty (would've added a bit more of peanut personally). then, we each took a pho which was phenomenal. the spices were well balanced & i just couldn't stop drinking the broth. the ambiance is really nice, especially at night with candles lit on the table. the service was great, the waitresses regularly checked on us to see if everything if was fine. totally recommend this place !!
We liked the shrimp & chicken fried rice & the spring rolls! The pork skewers were way too salty for our taste. We were disappointed by the taste of the Pitaya cocktail which is one of the most popular cocktail according to our server. We found it bland. Also, you should expect a noisy atmosphere with loud music. Still a great overall experience, I recommend the place !
Enjoyed the pork ribs & the chicken wings. The spring rolls were tasty. Wontons were a nice touch wasn't a big fan of the papaya salad. Service could be a bit faster.

Really loved this place! The ribs & chicken wings were amazing. We got a nice seat at the bar. The service was fast, & the staff was super nice. I'd highly recommend this place. I'll definitely be coming back for more soon! Thanks for the great experience.
Food was very good (Viet. pancakes, beef carpaccio, chicken wings...all delicious). Service was great by all 3 waiters moving around the room. Cocktails exceptional. Nothing not to like! Will def reco to friends for out of the box Viet cuisine.
