Such better places around, skip this one. Waited the long lineup to be told they did not have their dish (out for an hour & no signs to let you know) so we ordered the overpriced & bland vermicelli bowl. Back at the table, just needed some siricha & hosin to revive this disaster. Walked all the way back to be counter & was told they don't give out siricha (1 dollar each if wanted). No condiments at a Vietnamese restaurant?!? Oh well... next.
J'y suis allée à l'heure du lunch, le service était rapide & le pho était vraiment bon 😋
Food was okay, barely any chicken in my dish. No substitution as everything is premade & mixed in advanced.
Worse Vietnamese restaurant, we order a banh mi amd a vermicelli chicken noodles the chicken was cold & the bread was hard...
Honestly terrible service here. Better off supporting other establishments here at Time Out Market. My girlfriend has Celiac which already makes it hard enough to find stuff to eat. She was ordering the vermicelli bowl & asked a simple question of the person preparing the food to change their gloves to avoid cross contamination. The guy threw a fit about it!ALLERGIES ARE REAL & SERIOUS.
This was another hidden Gem. Great pho. There is a unique ingredient..it's just subtle enough..but it made the soup a 10!
While we are out to hunt for an early dinner & we came across this Vietnamese store in the Timeout market. Ordered a bowl of Chicken Pho . We love it. The broth is clear & tasty, generous serving of chicken & beansrpout, basils & lemon. Lucky us, we were given a plate of fried spring roll for free. Perhaps bcos I am a fellow countryman. :p or bcos it was already end of the day. Whichever ...it made our day. Thank you
The ingredients are good but taste is not quite right. The vermicelli bowl comes with sauce on the side as expected. However I discovered that the bottom was full of sauce. Why? The tofu is also overly sauced with very sweet sauce.
Le Red Tiger is a popular Vietnamese restaurant in Montreal that has a spot in the Timeout market, which is a great place to grab a quick bite.
It's a popular spot, though still a decent bowl of pho. It's quick enough to serve so if you're ever in a pinch for time, this is a good place to try. Weirdly, I wasn't given chopsticks & had to try eating this with a fork & spoon.
