Review Summary

Le P'tit Caribou is a popular destination in Mont Tremblant known for its vibrant atmosphere, especially during apres ski and late-night party hours. Many guests praise the delicious pub food, particularly the nachos, poutine, and burgers, along with the attentive and friendly service provided by the staff. The outdoor patio offers a beautiful view of Mirror Lake and is considered family-friendly, though some visitors find the venue crowded and the music volume excessively loud. While many enjoy the energetic environment, some reviewers have expressed concerns regarding pricing, noting that drink costs can be high and that certain menu items do not always meet expectations, leading to mixed feedback on overall value.

Very disappointing experience coming here…
The prices for what you get depending the food are insane. For example, the lobster rolls being 35$ while only getting two small sandwiches & the smoked meat in the poutine being just large chunks of meat instead of shredded like written on the menu. Customer service is close to nonexistent, we were not checked on. Our only interaction with the waitress was for check in, ordering & check out. When being served a drink that three people from our party ordered, one was filled significantly less than the others (pic below) & when asked about it, the server's excuse was'oh, one was poured out more than the other'. That was exactly the problem cause nonetheless whoever got the lesser filled drink was paying the 17$. Not to mention prior to coming in, we had emailed about a reservation for a group of 8, yet the staff seemed completely unaware of this when we entered. Our menus were never taken from the table until we left the bistro. Overall, very disappointing.

Le smoked meet sandwich n'est vraiment pas bon. La poutine est medium. La terrasse est très bien avec le chauffe terrasse. & le service est bien aussi.

The food was delicious (pulled pork poutine) & service was good although it was empty besides two other tables & we waited 15 mins before I finally got up & got the menus myself.

However, the doors to the restaurant on both sides were wide open the whole time despite it being 5 degrees out so we were freezing (I understand when you work in the industry you move a lot so you don't feel the cold, but when you're sitting it makes a difference).

Me & my friend both ordered bloody Caesars. The jerky on top was delicious. But unfortunately they tasted like water.. something was missing either Worcestershire or Tabasco or both. Or maybe just way too much ice. We also couldn't taste the alcohol. Maybe it was just the proportion (probably only 1oz) of the alcohol to the ice in the mason jar but we did not taste it. We asked if maybe they made us virgins by mistake but were assured there was alcohol. They offered another shot to make it a double, which we accepted (& payed for…).

Decor & vibe pretty cool though & we would come back for the food!

Poutine was delicious. I ordered the chicken sandwich. Was a bit too crunchy & overcooked for my liking but the ingredients together was well done. Our waitress was very nice. The place itself was a bit too dark, had to turn my cell flashlight in order to be able to see the menu.

A quick afternoon visit with family. The kids got to try poutine for the first time & we enjoyed some cold Rose.

It's my second time going tonight & it definitely won't be the last!

My cousins & I shared one plate of nachos & one plate of poutine for snacks. For drinks, some of us had a mojito & a lavender haze. Everything was a delicacy but the nachos really took the cake. 👏✨

On top of that, the staff was super kind & the playlist that was on was fire. 🔥 Also, we were seated in a nice spot by the lake. 👌

This gem is located in the Mont-Tremblant village so if you're visiting the area, please go there!

I had lunch here with my family. There were 6 of us (4 adults & 2 children) & we all thoroughly enjoyed our food & drinks! Service was very good, super attentive & made some great recommendations. We had the fish & chips, wagyu burger, chicken burger, regular poutine & Montreal smoked meat poutine. Everything was fresh & delicious! We also had a few drinks. The lemonade is freshly made & was carbonated. Just a note that it was very sour, but my son absolutely loved it! We were also recommended the pina colada, which is apparently house made as well! It had real pineapple pieces in it & was sooo good! We ordered the non-alcoholic version & I still think about it. Highly recommend!

I had a great dining experience at Le P'tit Caribou in Mont Tremblant, & I'd happily recommend it to others. I dined in, & the atmosphere was lively & cozy, perfectly capturing the charm of the village square-4 stars for atmosphere, as it's a wonderful spot to relax after a day outdoors, though it can get a bit noisy during peak hours.

The food was delicious & satisfying, earning a solid 4 stars. I ordered the burger & poutine & both were flavorful & well-prepared. The portions were generous, & the ingredients felt fresh, but I felt there could be a touch more seasoning or variety in the menu to push it to 5 stars.

Service was friendly & attentive, also deserving 4 stars. Our server was quick to take our order & check in, but there was a slight delay during a busy lunch rush, which is understandable but kept it from being perfect. Overall, the staff's warmth & efficiency made the experience enjoyable.

Le P'tit Caribou offers great value for a Mont Tremblant dining spot, & I'd return without hesitation. It's a fantastic choice for a casual meal with family or friends, though a few small tweaks could make it truly outstanding. Highly recommended!
