Le Prieuré is a cozy, vintage-style French restaurant with warm lighting & welcoming service, run by the chef & his wife. The ambiance is intimate & charming, with a personal touch throughout the evening.

Cocktails were well-priced & solid, with one standout that we enjoyed so much we plan to attempt & recreate it at home.

We had a classic three-course meal. Entrées were a highlight - the foie gras with port reduction was rich & beautifully executed, & the duck trilogy was excellent, especially the caramelized onions.

The rack of lamb was cooked perfectly rosé, but the parmesan was only sprinkled, not crusted, & the cuts were uneven. The sides were less successful - buttery mashed potatoes were great, but the vegetables were bland & the cob of corn felt out of place. Otherwise great dish.

For dessert, the tiramisu was flavorful but too liquidy at the bottom, & the crème brûlée, though tasty, lacked the freshly torched top we expected.

At just under $360 for two (including cocktails, half a bottle of wine, & tip), it was a fair & enjoyable experience overall. Everything was nearly spot-on, with just a small element in the main course that kept it from reaching a full five-star experience. Nonetheless le Prieuré shows a lot of heart & has real potential with some refinements.

Le Prieuré est un restaurant proposant une expérience culinaire hors du commun. Chaque bouchée est un monde de saveurs, le chef sait mettre son savoir-faire dans les plats qu'il prépare. Nous recommandons ce restaurant les yeux fermés pour tout foodie qui aime la haute gastronomie française!

Quelle belle rencontre! Première fois au restaurant le prieuré. Je suis native de St-Sulpice mais je n'avais pas eu la chance de passer au restaurant. J'ai suivi Martine & Thierry lors de leur partage de voyage. Ce fut une belle discussion entre nous. Pour le service ces de loin un des meilleurs. Martine es très attentionné & nous avons été plus que bien servi. Pour la nourriture... Thierry... juste un gros wow! La délicatesse de la composition de l'assiette, les saveurs, la présentation.. La passion transparaît dans l'assiette. Merci pour cette belle soirée! Cathy & Louis!
